A met\u00e0 maggio, un'onda d'urto ha colpito l'industria spagnola dello svapo: il governo ha presentato un disegno di legge che porrebbe fine al settore nazionale indipendente dello svapo. La proposta prevede di limitare le vendite di prodotti per lo svapo alle tabaccherie statali entro cinque anni. I negozi specializzati in svapo possono rimanere in attivit\u00e0 solo se si trasformano in tabaccherie autorizzate, un passaggio che li obbligherebbe a vendere anche prodotti combustibili. Il disegno di legge vieterebbe anche la vendita online di prodotti per lo svapo.<\/p>\n

In una recente conferenza, Angeles Muntadas-Prim Lafita, presidente dell'Associazione Spagnola di Sostegno ai Vapers (ANESVAP), ha spiegato che la proposta di legge implica che il governo voglia monopolizzare il mercato della nicotina. "Un Paese membro del mercato comune europeo vuole monopolizzare un mercato libero e indipendente. \u00c8 come tornare a un'epoca in cui la Spagna non era nemmeno una democrazia, o addirittura all'epoca dell'Inquisizione spagnola", ha affermato.<\/p>\n

Muntadas-Prim Lafita ha ritenuto improbabile che i proprietari di negozi di sigarette elettroniche vendessero combustibili. Le tabaccherie tradizionali, d'altra parte, potrebbero o meno vendere prodotti per lo svapo secondo le norme previste. "Questo sarebbe dannoso per i consumatori, che sarebbero costretti ad andare in tabaccheria per acquistare i loro prodotti per lo svapo, o quanti pi\u00f9 ne potessero trovare, perch\u00e9 spetterebbe al tabaccaio decidere cosa vendere", ha affermato. "Inoltre, i fumatori che usano lo svapo per smettere di fumare prodotti pi\u00f9 pericolosi potrebbero essere tentati di acquistare nuovamente combustibili. \u00c8 come costringere una riunione degli Alcolisti Anonimi a tenersi in un negozio di alcolici".\u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
