9.6.2021, L'Aia.<\/strong> Mercoled\u00ec mattina gli svapatori sono scesi in piazza a L'Aia, dove i membri del Comitato sanitario si sono incontrati per discutere la proposta del governo di vietare gli aromi per sigarette elettroniche.<\/p>\n

In piedi fuori dalla Camera dei rappresentanti, gli svapatori e i proprietari di negozi di sigarette elettroniche hanno distribuito campioni di gelati dal sapore disgustoso, ricordando ai parlamentari e al pubblico che i sapori sono parte integrante del successo dello svapo, che ha gi\u00e0 visto centinaia di migliaia di fumatori olandesi abbandonare le sigarette.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, direttore della World Vapers' Alliance, ha affermato:<\/p>\n

\u201cQuando questa proposta \u00e8 stata sottoposta a consultazione pubblica, ha ricevuto una delle risposte pi\u00f9 numerose di sempre, con 98% di intervistati contrari al divieto. Il messaggio al Segretario di Stato era chiaro: gli aromi per lo svapo aiutano i fumatori a smettere, e c'\u00e8 un'enorme opposizione al suo ridicolo piano. Gli svapatori sono indignati dal fatto che un governo provvisorio continui a insistere per questa proposta di divieto dopo un messaggio cos\u00ec forte e chiaro.<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

I Paesi Bassi hanno registrato il maggior numero di risposte mai raccolte in una consultazione pubblica su questioni sanitarie, con 98% di tutte le risposte contrarie al divieto. Ci sono circa 400.000 svapatori nel Paese, la stragrande maggioranza dei quali sono ex fumatori che hanno usato le sigarette elettroniche per smettere o fumatori che stanno cercando di ridurre la loro abitudine al fumo. Ricerca<\/a>pubblicato nel 2020 ha dimostrato che fino a 260.000 svapatori olandesi potrebbero essere costretti a tornare a fumare se gli aromi venissero vietati.<\/p>\n
