BRUXELLES, 30 septembre 2026 \u2014 Neuf organisations bruxelloises ont re\u00e7u plus de 12,8 millions d'euros de financements europ\u00e9ens au cours de la p\u00e9riode couverte par la nouvelle Fondation pour le libre march\u00e9 rapport<\/a>. Trois d'entre eux ont pass\u00e9 une grande partie de l'ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e \u00e0 plaider en faveur d'une hausse des taxes sur la nicotine, de restrictions sur les ar\u00f4mes et de r\u00e8gles pla\u00e7ant les produits nicotiniques alternatifs dans la m\u00eame cat\u00e9gorie que les cigarettes. C'est la voie que suit d\u00e9j\u00e0 la Commission.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, directeur de la World Vapers' Alliance, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n

\u201c La Commission signe les ch\u00e8ques, les m\u00eames organisations renvoient les demandes, et on dit aux eurod\u00e9put\u00e9s que c'est ce que souhaite la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile. Ce n'est pas le cas. Les personnes qui ont r\u00e9ellement arr\u00eat\u00e9 de fumer en changeant de cigarette ne sont pas consult\u00e9es. \u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

L\u2019Organisation europ\u00e9enne contre le cancer a re\u00e7u 1,46 million d\u2019euros de la Commission et figure parmi les voix les plus virulentes contre les cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques et les sachets de tabac \u00e0 chiquer utilis\u00e9s par les fumeurs pour arr\u00eater de fumer. Le Partenariat pour un monde sans tabac, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une subvention de 100\u00a0000\u00a0euros, a milit\u00e9 pour l\u2019interdiction des ar\u00f4mes. L\u2019Alliance europ\u00e9enne pour la sant\u00e9 publique a re\u00e7u plus de la moiti\u00e9 de son budget de la Commission et a utilis\u00e9 une partie de ces fonds pour promouvoir un renforcement de la r\u00e9glementation des produits \u00e0 risque r\u00e9duit.<\/p>\n

Le 28 septembre, la commission parlementaire de la sant\u00e9, SANT, a adopt\u00e9 son rapport<\/a> concernant la mise en \u0153uvre du Plan de lutte contre le cancer. Le texte adopt\u00e9 d\u00e9crit toujours les nouveaux produits \u00e0 base de nicotine comme \u00e9tant con\u00e7us pour cr\u00e9er et maintenir une d\u00e9pendance, m\u00eame si, deux semaines auparavant, dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire, rapport<\/a>, Le Parlement avait adopt\u00e9 une formulation qui \u00e9tablissait une distinction entre les risques li\u00e9s aux diff\u00e9rents produits.<\/p>\n
