Ce rapport, qui doit \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 officiellement aux membres du Parlement europ\u00e9en cette semaine, minimise consid\u00e9rablement le succ\u00e8s su\u00e9dois en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre le tabagisme et menace la vie de nombreux anciens et actuels fumeurs au sein de l&#039;UE, selon l&#039;Alliance mondiale des vapoteurs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Michael Landl, directeur du mouvement mondial des consommateurs, a comment\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00ab<em>Le succ\u00e8s de la Su\u00e8de en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre le tabagisme n&#039;est pas un miracle, mais le fruit d&#039;une politique nationale fond\u00e9e sur des donn\u00e9es probantes, en faveur d&#039;une alternative moins nocive \u00e0 la cigarette. Depuis que le monde entier a salu\u00e9 la r\u00e9ussite su\u00e9doise dans l&#039;atteinte de l&#039;objectif 5% (111 jours sans tabac), tous les regards se sont tourn\u00e9s vers l&#039;UE, per\u00e7ue comme un moteur de r\u00e9duction des risques et d&#039;innovation. Si la Commission europ\u00e9enne d\u00e9cide d&#039;\u00e9tendre l&#039;interdiction du snus aux sachets de nicotine, elle compromettra non seulement ses propres objectifs en mati\u00e8re de lutte contre le tabagisme, mais aussi les efforts de sevrage tabagique \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle mondiale.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Si la Su\u00e8de a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement son taux de tabagisme au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#039;exemption de l&#039;UE concernant l&#039;interdiction du snus, les sachets de nicotine ne b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient pas du m\u00eame traitement et sont donc \u00e9galement menac\u00e9s en Su\u00e8de.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00ab<em>Malheureusement, l&#039;exception su\u00e9doise concernant le snus au tabac ne s&#039;applique pas aux portions de nicotine. Si la Commission europ\u00e9enne et les \u00c9tats membres acceptent la recommandation du rapport, le snus blanc sera \u00e9galement interdit en Su\u00e8de. Les hommes ont majoritairement abandonn\u00e9 la cigarette au profit du snus, tandis que les femmes, \u00e0 la recherche d&#039;alternatives moins dangereuses, optent plus souvent pour le snus blanc. Par cons\u00e9quent, une telle interdiction p\u00e9naliserait davantage les femmes.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0a salu\u00e9 le d\u00e9put\u00e9 europ\u00e9en Weimers dans son message sur Twitter.\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Le mois dernier, la Su\u00e8de a annonc\u00e9 son intention de r\u00e9duire la taxe sur le snus, un produit du tabac sans fum\u00e9e, de 201 TP4T, tout en augmentant celle sur les cigarettes et le tabac \u00e0 fumer de 91 TP4T.
