Il s&#039;agit d&#039;une baisse significative pour les adultes am\u00e9ricains \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 29 ans, soit la plus forte diminution enregistr\u00e9e dans tous les groupes d&#039;\u00e2ge depuis le d\u00e9but du mill\u00e9naire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/405884\/cigarette-smoking-rates-down-sharply-among-young-adults.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D&#039;apr\u00e8s cette r\u00e9cente enqu\u00eate annuelle Gallup sur les habitudes de consommation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Men\u00e9e chaque ann\u00e9e depuis 2001, cette enqu\u00eate montre que le pourcentage de jeunes adultes qui fument a consid\u00e9rablement diminu\u00e9, et c&#039;est en grande partie gr\u00e2ce aux cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depuis 2019, Gallup mesure la consommation de cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques par les Am\u00e9ricains s\u00e9par\u00e9ment de sa mesure du tabagisme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces donn\u00e9es montrent que 191 % des 18-29 ans vapotent actuellement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00eame si <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le vapotage est beaucoup plus fr\u00e9quent chez les 18-29 ans (191 %) que chez les tranches d&#039;\u00e2ge plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es\u00a0: 71 % chez les 30-49 ans, 31 % chez les 50-64 ans et moins de 11 % chez les 65 ans et plus. Cela montre que les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es privil\u00e9gient malheureusement encore les cigarettes classiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c0 l&#039;inverse, les donn\u00e9es de Gallup sur la consommation de marijuana ont augment\u00e9 pour la m\u00eame tranche d&#039;\u00e2ge. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Entre 2019 et 2022, en moyenne 261 jeunes adultes sur 4 ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avoir fum\u00e9 du cannabis, contre 171 entre 2013 et 2015. On compte aujourd&#039;hui plus de deux fois plus de jeunes adultes qui d\u00e9clarent fumer du cannabis que des cigarettes. Fumer du cannabis est \u00e9galement plus fr\u00e9quent que vapoter chez les jeunes adultes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9futent l&#039;argument de la \u201c porte d&#039;entr\u00e9e \u201d et pourraient m\u00eame prouver le contraire. Les autorit\u00e9s de sant\u00e9 publique devraient d\u00e9sormais savoir que l&#039;affirmation selon laquelle le vapotage incite \u00e0 fumer est infond\u00e9e. Au contraire, il s&#039;agit d&#039;une voie d&#039;\u00e9loignement du tabagisme nocif, et il convient de s&#039;en f\u00e9liciter et de la promouvoir comme telle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On pourrait penser que les responsables de la sant\u00e9 publique seraient encourag\u00e9s par la forte baisse de la consommation de cigarettes combustibles et modifieraient leur point de vue et leur discours sur les produits nicotiniques plus s\u00fbrs, non seulement pour corriger les id\u00e9es fausses du public sur la nicotine, mais aussi pour promouvoir cette solution afin d&#039;aider les groupes plus \u00e2g\u00e9s \u00e0 faire la transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La FDA affirme que sa communication vise \u00e0 limiter l&#039;usage chez les jeunes, mais cette tactique se retourne clairement contre elle, car les jeunes adultes semblent faire leurs propres recherches et choisissent de vapoter comme une alternative plus saine, tandis que ces messages \u201c destin\u00e9s aux jeunes \u201d risquent tout simplement d&#039;effrayer les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations plus \u00e2g\u00e9es et de les inciter \u00e0 continuer de fumer des cigarettes mortelles !<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the past two decades the smoking rate amongst the American youth has dropped from 35% to 11%.
