Cependant, les politiques antitabac traditionnelles, telles que les taxes sur le tabac, l&#039;interdiction de la publicit\u00e9 et du marketing, et une taxation \u00e9lev\u00e9e, n&#039;ont eu jusqu&#039;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent qu&#039;une efficacit\u00e9 limit\u00e9e. Bien que louables, ces mesures n&#039;ont manifestement pas produit les r\u00e9sultats escompt\u00e9s, puisque dans l&#039;UE, on compte encore plus de 80 millions de fumeurs et pr\u00e8s de 700\u00a0000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s par an dus \u00e0 des maladies li\u00e9es au tabagisme.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Face \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chec des politiques conventionnelles pour faire baisser ce chiffre alarmant, de nouvelles innovations, comme le vapotage, ont fait leur apparition sur le march\u00e9 et pourraient sauver des millions de vies. <strong>Avec des r\u00e9glementations favorables aux consommateurs en mati\u00e8re de vapotage, <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/consumerchoicecenter.org\/from-smoking-to-vaping\/\">19 millions de fumeurs pourraient passer au vapotage<\/a><\/strong><strong> en Europe \u2013 une alternative moins nocive au 95%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>L&#039;UE ignore de nouvelles preuves scientifiques.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La semaine derni\u00e8re encore, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/nicotine-vaping-in-england-2022-evidence-update\/nicotine-vaping-in-england-2022-evidence-update-summary\"><strong>nouvelles preuves<\/strong> revoir<\/a> Le Bureau anglais pour l&#039;am\u00e9lioration de la sant\u00e9 et la lutte contre les disparit\u00e9s (qui a succ\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 Public Health England) a conclu que <strong>\u201c Le vapotage ne pr\u00e9sente qu\u2019une infime partie des risques li\u00e9s au tabagisme. \u201d <\/strong>et que l\u2019exposition aux substances canc\u00e9rig\u00e8nes, aux toxiques respiratoires et aux toxiques li\u00e9s aux maladies cardiovasculaires est \u201c significativement plus faible \u201d qu\u2019avec le tabagisme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Malheureusement, contrairement au Royaume-Uni, l&#039;UE et la Commission europ\u00e9enne en particulier n&#039;encouragent toujours pas le vapotage comme m\u00e9thode de r\u00e9duction des risques.<\/strong>. Plusieurs propositions politiques qui circulent \u00e0 Bruxelles auraient des effets n\u00e9fastes sur la sant\u00e9 publique et ignorent les donn\u00e9es scientifiques et l&#039;exp\u00e9rience des consommateurs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les ar\u00f4mes des cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques sont importants pour r\u00e9duire le taux de tabagisme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes ont prouv\u00e9 que <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/ntr\/article\/22\/10\/1831\/5843872?login=false\">deux tiers des vapoteurs<\/a><\/strong><strong> Utilisez des ar\u00f4mes sans tabac pour arr\u00eater de fumer.<\/strong> et sont <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/32501490\/\">230\u00a0% plus susceptibles d'arr\u00eater de fumer<\/a> C\u2019est ainsi. Par cons\u00e9quent, le r\u00f4le important des ar\u00f4mes dans le sevrage tabagique ne peut \u00eatre n\u00e9glig\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est seulement au sein de l\u2019UE que nous avons constat\u00e9 plusieurs <strong>tentatives d&#039;interdiction ou de r\u00e9glementation des ar\u00f4mes de vapotage<\/strong>. La Lituanie, l&#039;Estonie, le Danemark, la Hongrie et d&#039;autres pays ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 interdit les liquides aromatis\u00e9s. Et m\u00eame si l&#039;espoir \u00e9tait apparu avec la d\u00e9cision du gouvernement su\u00e9dois, il n&#039;a finalement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 combl\u00e9. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2022\/06\/27\/the-swedish-parliament-votes-against-the-ban-on-vape-flavours\/\">rejeter l&#039;interdiction des ar\u00f4mes<\/a>, de l&#039;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/health.ec.europa.eu\/system\/files\/2022-02\/eu_cancer-plan_en_0.pdf\">Le plan europ\u00e9en de lutte contre le cancer<\/a>\u201d, qui servira de ligne directrice pour la mise \u00e0 jour de la Directive sur les produits du tabac (DPT), a laiss\u00e9 la porte ouverte \u00e0 l\u2019interdiction des ar\u00f4mes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Restreindre les liquides aromatis\u00e9s rend le sevrage tabagique plus difficile pour les fumeurs.<\/strong> et risque de compromettre les progr\u00e8s durement acquis par les consommateurs qui ont abandonn\u00e9 les cigarettes les plus dangereuses.
