Lundi 25 juillet, la loi dite \u00ab\u00a0sur le vapotage\u00a0\u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 promulgu\u00e9e. Ce texte vise \u00e0 r\u00e9glementer l\u2019importation, la fabrication, la vente, le conditionnement, la distribution, l\u2019utilisation et la communication des produits de vapotage et du tabac chauff\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Point important, le projet de loi vise \u00e0 imposer des restrictions d'\u00e2ge sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 18 ans, garantissant ainsi aux fumeurs adultes l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des alternatives non combustibles au tabac.<\/p>\n

Liza Katsiashvili, responsable de la communaut\u00e9 \u00e0 la World Vapers' Alliance, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n

\u201c Alors que la plupart des d\u00e9cideurs politiques sont mal inform\u00e9s et luttent contre le vapotage, les Philippines ont suivi la bonne voie en l'adoptant. \u00bb le vapotage comme innovation efficace de r\u00e9duction des risques<\/a> Pour sauver des vies. D\u2019autres pays devraient suivre cet exemple et adopter des politiques intelligentes en mati\u00e8re de vapotage afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 publique de millions de consommateurs dans le monde.\u201d<\/p>\n

La loi, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le s\u00e9nateur Ralph G. Recto, indique que la priorit\u00e9 de l'\u00c9tat est d'adopter une strat\u00e9gie de r\u00e9duction des risques, ax\u00e9e sur le sevrage tabagique chez les consommateurs adultes. Cette d\u00e9claration repr\u00e9sente une victoire majeure pour la communaut\u00e9 des vapoteurs aux Philippines.<\/p>\n
