Il confirme que le vapotage est une solution pour arr\u00eater de fumer. Ceux qui persistent \u00e0 affirmer que le vapotage incite \u00e0 fumer devraient prendre le temps de se renseigner sur les donn\u00e9es scientifiques. On a beaucoup entendu parler de \u2018\u00a0la science\u00a0\u2019 ces derniers temps avec la COVID, mais esp\u00e9rons que ceux qui critiquent sans cesse le vapotage en tiendront compte cette fois-ci. Ils ne peuvent pas continuer \u00e0 s\u00e9lectionner les donn\u00e9es scientifiques qui les arrangent. \u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le rapport actualis\u00e9 de Public Health England montre que\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le vapotage est l&#039;aide la plus populaire (27,2%) utilis\u00e9e par les fumeurs qui tentent d&#039;arr\u00eater de fumer en Angleterre en 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Plus de 50 000 fumeurs ont arr\u00eat\u00e9 de fumer en 2017 gr\u00e2ce au vapotage.<\/li>\n<li>38% des fumeurs pensaient que le vapotage \u00e9tait aussi nocif que le tabagisme, tandis que 15% pensaient qu&#039;il \u00e9tait plus nocif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Michael Landl a fait part de ses inqui\u00e9tudes concernant la perception du vapotage chez les fumeurs actuels\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des fumeurs pensent que le vapotage est aussi nocif, voire plus nocif, que le tabagisme. C\u2019est extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9occupant. La d\u00e9sinformation autour du vapotage contribue largement \u00e0 ce malentendu et nous devons tous faire notre possible pour l\u2019enrayer. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 cette nouvelle preuve scientifique de l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 du vapotage comme m\u00e9thode de sevrage tabagique, la proposition de la Commission europ\u00e9enne pour le Plan europ\u00e9en de lutte contre le cancer, r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9e, pr\u00e9voit des mesures pour endiguer syst\u00e9matiquement le vapotage en utilisant les m\u00eames techniques que celles employ\u00e9es pour lutter contre le tabagisme. Parmi ces mesures figurent l&#039;extension de la taxation aux nouveaux produits du tabac, l&#039;interdiction de vapoter dans les lieux publics et l&#039;interdiction des ar\u00f4mes. La semaine prochaine, le comit\u00e9 consultatif scientifique de la Commission, le SCHEER, pr\u00e9sentera sa version actualis\u00e9e.<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/health\/scientific_committees\/scheer\/opinions_en#fragment1\"> rapport sur les cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques<\/a> qui serviront de base \u00e0 de futures r\u00e9glementations de l&#039;UE.<\/p>\n<p>Commentant le plan europ\u00e9en de lutte contre le cancer, Landl a d\u00e9clar\u00e9\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c \u00c0 ce jour, la Commission europ\u00e9enne a ignor\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es scientifiques sur le vapotage dans son plan de lutte contre le cancer.
