Cochrane attribue \u00e0 ce r\u00e9sultat le grade de \u201c\u00a0certitude \u00e9lev\u00e9e\u00a0\u201d (le plus haut niveau de preuve qu\u2019elle attribue, et qu\u2019elle accorde rarement).<\/p>\n<p>Ce document a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 deux semaines apr\u00e8s la cl\u00f4ture par la Commission europ\u00e9enne de sa consultation publique sur la r\u00e9vision de la directive relative aux produits du tabac (DPT). La proposition de la Commission, qui devrait \u00eatre publi\u00e9e plus tard cette ann\u00e9e, vise \u00e0 interdire les ar\u00f4mes et \u00e0 renforcer la r\u00e9glementation des produits nicotin\u00e9s moins nocifs.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur de l&#039;Alliance mondiale des vapoteurs, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Il devrait d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre \u00e9vident que le vapotage fonctionne comme outil de sevrage tabagique. Pourtant, la Commission europ\u00e9enne persiste dans le d\u00e9ni et refuse de reconna\u00eetre la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 scientifique. \u00bb. <\/em><strong><em>Il est temps de reconna\u00eetre pleinement le vapotage comme aide au sevrage tabagique et de mettre fin \u00e0 la surr\u00e9glementation et aux interdictions. Le vapotage est efficace et les fumeurs doivent avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des alternatives sans fum\u00e9e.<\/em><\/strong><em>&quot;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Constatations de l&#039;\u00e9tude\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>Environ quatre personnes de plus sur cent arr\u00eatent de fumer gr\u00e2ce aux cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques \u00e0 la nicotine plut\u00f4t qu&#039;avec des patchs ou des gommes \u00e0 m\u00e2cher. L&#039;\u00e9tude n&#039;a mis en \u00e9vidence aucune augmentation des risques graves et a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques \u00e0 la nicotine sont plus efficaces que celles sans nicotine.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Alliance mondiale des vapoteurs appelle la Commission europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 prendre en compte ces conclusions et \u00e0 fonder sa future r\u00e9glementation sur celles-ci. Le vapotage a toute sa place dans la lutte contre le tabagisme et doit \u00eatre r\u00e9glement\u00e9 en fonction des risques qu\u2019il comporte. <strong><em>\u201c Les interdictions et la surr\u00e9glementation ne fonctionnent pas. Sans le vapotage, l\u2019Europe n\u2019atteindra pas son objectif d\u2019espace sans tabac.
