Les r\u00e9sultats de ce sondage de 2022 sont publi\u00e9s une semaine apr\u00e8s la parution, par la Commission europ\u00e9enne, de la deuxi\u00e8me consultation publique relative \u00e0 la r\u00e9vision de la directive europ\u00e9enne sur les produits du tabac (DPT).<\/p>\n<p>D&#039;apr\u00e8s le sondage, une l\u00e9g\u00e8re majorit\u00e9 de d\u00e9put\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens estiment que les produits contenant de la nicotine sont moins nocifs que le tabac, tandis que le nombre de d\u00e9cideurs politiques qui les consid\u00e8rent aussi nocifs a diminu\u00e9 de 61 %. Un quart des personnes interrog\u00e9es ignorent encore la nature de ces produits et les niveaux de risque associ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur de la World Vapers&#039; Alliance, a comment\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de l&#039;enqu\u00eate\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cNous nous r\u00e9jouissons de constater que de plus en plus de l\u00e9gislateurs prennent conscience des avantages de la r\u00e9duction des risques li\u00e9s au sevrage tabagique. Toutefois, l&#039;enqu\u00eate r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00e9galement qu&#039;un grand nombre de d\u00e9put\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens, malgr\u00e9 leur m\u00e9connaissance des principes fondamentaux de la r\u00e9duction des risques li\u00e9s au tabac, auront un impact consid\u00e9rable sur la l\u00e9gislation antitabac pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Les id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues sur le vapotage et la nicotine ont frein\u00e9 l&#039;adoption de la r\u00e9duction des risques par de nombreux gouvernements. Parmi ces pays figurent notamment le Royaume-Uni et la Su\u00e8de.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c La Su\u00e8de est le seul pays europ\u00e9en proche d&#039;atteindre l&#039;objectif 5% d&#039;un environnement sans tabac. Ce succ\u00e8s s&#039;explique par le fait que les l\u00e9gislateurs su\u00e9dois sont \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9coute des consommateurs et soutiennent la r\u00e9duction des risques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un snus correctement r\u00e9glement\u00e9 et \u00e0 une attitude ouverte envers le vapotage. En collaboration avec le r\u00e9seau des associations de d\u00e9fense du vapotage, nous poursuivons nos efforts de sensibilisation au r\u00f4le positif des produits nicotin\u00e9s en Europe et au-del\u00e0.
