Malheureusement, cette strat\u00e9gie omet de s&#039;attaquer \u00e0 l&#039;une des principales causes de ces probl\u00e8mes\u00a0: le tabagisme. La r\u00e9duction des risques li\u00e9s au tabac doit imp\u00e9rativement figurer dans une telle strat\u00e9gie afin de lutter contre les maladies qui y sont associ\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, directeur de la World Vapers&#039; Alliance, a comment\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c La Commission europ\u00e9enne fait une fois de plus fi des donn\u00e9es scientifiques et ignore la voix des consommateurs. La r\u00e9duction des risques li\u00e9s au tabac doit devenir un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central de toutes les politiques de sant\u00e9 de l&#039;UE. Chaque ann\u00e9e, 700\u00a0000 personnes meurent du tabagisme, et pourtant, la Commission s&#039;oppose aux alternatives moins nocives. Les donn\u00e9es scientifiques sont formelles\u00a0: le vapotage est bien moins nocif que le tabac et constitue l&#039;une des aides au sevrage tabagique les plus efficaces.
