Encore un mythe sur le vapotage d\u00e9mystifi\u00e9 \u2013 cette fois par des scientifiques<\/h4>\n

Tapez le mot \u201c vapotage \u201d sur Google n'importe quel jour et vous pouvez \u00eatre s\u00fbr que parmi les premiers r\u00e9sultats figureront des articles de tablo\u00efds non fond\u00e9s expliquant comment le vapotage incite davantage de jeunes \u00e0 fumer des cigarettes.<\/p>\n

La communaut\u00e9 des vapoteurs est extr\u00eamement frustr\u00e9e par toute la n\u00e9gativit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dias autour des cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques et croit fermement que, si le vapotage est une porte d'entr\u00e9e vers quoi que ce soit, c'est bien vers la sortie du tabagisme et qu'il devrait \u00eatre largement soutenu comme outil de sevrage tabagique.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est pourquoi nous nous r\u00e9jouissons de la publication, dans la prestigieuse revue New Scientist, d\u2019une nouvelle \u00e9tude de l\u2019University College London qui r\u00e9fute en grande partie la th\u00e9orie selon laquelle les cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques cr\u00e9eraient une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de jeunes d\u00e9pendants \u00e0 la nicotine. Une analyse r\u00e9cente des tendances de consommation de cigarettes et de cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques chez les 16-24 ans en Angleterre affirme cat\u00e9goriquement que le vapotage ne semble pas \u00eatre une porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e vers le tabagisme.<\/p>\n

Est-ce g\u00e9n\u00e9tique ? Ou la pression des pairs ?<\/h5>\n

Tout en reconnaissant qu'il existe des \u00e9tudes montrant que les adolescents qui utilisent kits de mods de vape<\/a> Bien que les personnes ayant une plus grande probabilit\u00e9 de fumer aient tendance \u00e0 \u00eatre plus susceptibles de consommer de l'alcool, le nouveau rapport souligne que cela ne prouve pas que le premier comportement cause le second. Le principal auteur du rapport, le professeur Lion Shahab de l'UCL, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9\u00a0: \u201c\u00a0Il se pourrait qu'une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 commune explique cette association. Cela pourrait \u00eatre d\u00fb, par exemple, \u00e0 une pr\u00e9disposition g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter de nouvelles choses ou \u00e0 une pression environnementale incitant \u00e0 le faire.\u00a0\u201d<\/p>\n
