Fond\u00e9 sur des donn\u00e9es insuffisantes, il ignore des preuves scientifiques cruciales, le t\u00e9moignage des consommateurs et les avis d&#039;experts recueillis lors de la consultation.<\/p>\n<p>Commentant le rapport, Michael Landl, directeur de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wvaold.wpengine.com\/\">Alliance mondiale des vapoteurs<\/a> (WVA) a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Ce rapport est une catastrophe pour la sant\u00e9 publique et aura des cons\u00e9quences d\u00e9sastreuses pour les fumeurs et les vapoteurs. Le SCHEER ignore de nombreuses donn\u00e9es scientifiques sur le vapotage, pourtant fournies par des experts et des consommateurs lors de sa consultation en d\u00e9but d&#039;ann\u00e9e. Ils ont choisi de les ignorer. C&#039;est un affront aux vapoteurs et au bon sens. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Le rapport ne tient pas compte de preuves ind\u00e9pendantes cruciales de Public Health England, qui montrent que les cigarettes \u00e9lectroniques sont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/false-fears-preventing-smokers-from-using-e-cigarettes-to-quit\">95% moins nocif<\/a> que fumer et a r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9couvert que le vapotage est le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/vaping-in-england-evidence-update-february-2021\">les moyens les plus couramment utilis\u00e9s pour arr\u00eater de fumer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Des pays comme le Royaume-Uni et la France encouragent activement les fumeurs \u00e0 utiliser la cigarette \u00e9lectronique et \u00e0 opter pour cette alternative moins nocive. Si l\u2019UE souhaite r\u00e9ellement lutter contre les maladies li\u00e9es au tabagisme, elle doit examiner attentivement toutes les donn\u00e9es disponibles. Malheureusement, le rapport du SCHEER est biais\u00e9 contre le vapotage, et ses recommandations, si elles \u00e9taient transpos\u00e9es en l\u00e9gislation, nuiraient \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 publique \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Michael Landl.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Les prochains mois verront de nouvelles mises \u00e0 jour l\u00e9gislatives au sein de l&#039;UE, conform\u00e9ment au plan europ\u00e9en de lutte contre le cancer, notamment des modifications de la directive sur les produits du tabac (DPT) et de la directive sur les droits d&#039;accise sur le tabac (DAT). Dans ce contexte, les conclusions du comit\u00e9 SCHEER pourraient s&#039;av\u00e9rer pr\u00e9judiciables \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des citoyens europ\u00e9ens.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIl semble que l&#039;objectif principal ait \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9glig\u00e9\u00a0: r\u00e9duire le nombre de fumeurs et lutter contre les maladies li\u00e9es au tabagisme. Le vapotage n&#039;est pas du tabagisme et ne doit pas \u00eatre trait\u00e9 de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re. La r\u00e9glementation doit \u00eatre con\u00e7ue de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 encourager les fumeurs actuels \u00e0 passer au vapotage. L&#039;UE doit se concentrer sur des solutions concr\u00e8tes pour r\u00e9duire les risques, et ce point essentiel est absent de l&#039;analyse du SCHEER. Le vapotage peut aider les fumeurs \u00e0 arr\u00eater, mais ce rapport ignore ce fait et compare le vapotage \u00e0 l&#039;absence de tabagisme.
