Bryssel, 12.11.2025. Euroopan unioni ei ole j\u00e4lleen kerran onnistunut p\u00e4\u00e4sem\u00e4\u00e4n yhteiseen kantaan ennen WHO:n tupakoinnin torjuntaa koskevan puitesopimuksen COP11-kokousta Genevess\u00e4, kuten WHO raportoi.\u00a0POLIITTIS<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Raportin mukaan Tanska on poistanut ehdotetun suodatettuja savukkeita koskevan kiellon EU:n luonnoksesta ennen WHO:n huippukokousta Genevess\u00e4. Niin kutsuttujen "tulevaisuuteen suuntautuvien toimenpiteiden" mukaiset lis\u00e4suositukset n\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4t kuitenkin olevan umpikuja.<\/p>\n

N\u00e4iden toimenpiteiden tarkoituksena on laajentaa tai tehostaa nikotiinituotteiden rajoittamista tiukemmin. N\u00e4ihin sis\u00e4ltyisi muun muassa makurajoituksia ja veronkorotuksia. T\u00e4m\u00e4 paketti n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 jakavan EU:n j\u00e4senvaltioita, sill\u00e4 maat vastustavat tiukempia s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6ksi\u00e4 ja kielt\u00e4ytyv\u00e4t allekirjoittamasta laajempaa agendaa.<\/p>\n
