Latvian hallitus aikoo korottaa e-nesteiden verotusta ja tehd\u00e4 samalla tupakkatuotteiden haittojen v\u00e4hent\u00e4misest\u00e4 v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n houkuttelevaa nykyisille tupakoitsijoille. World Vapers' Alliance on paheksunut hanketta ja kutsunut l\u00e4hestymistapaa tieteen vastaiseksi sek\u00e4 vaatinut Latvian viranomaisia noudattamaan n\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n perustuvaa l\u00e4hestymistapaa vaihtoehtoisten nikotiinituotteiden verotukseen.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Latvian hallitus hyv\u00e4ksyi useita muutoksia valmisteverolakiin, joihin kuuluu e-nesteiden ja muiden tupakkatuotteiden valmisteveron asteittainen korotus.<\/p>\n

E-nesteiden ja niiden komponenttien valmisteverot nousevat keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 211 TP4T vuosittain vuosina 2024, 2025 ja 2026, kun taas tupakankorvikkeiden, joihin kuuluvat my\u00f6s nikotiinipussit, valmisteverot nousevat keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 101 TP4T vuodessa.<\/p>\n
