Last month, 100 top experts in the field of public health and tobacco harm reduction, sent a clear message to the WHO, a plea to end the war on vaping and other nicotine alternatives.<\/em><\/p>\n

The WHO needs to recognize that its ineffective methodology, and consult with science and consumers in order to save millions of lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Amongst the experts were World Vapers\u2019 Alliance (WVA\u2019s) scientific advisor Prof. Bernhard Mayer and Dr. Colin Mendelsohn, an Australian public health expert, and\u00a0they emphasized\u00a0that the current anti-vaping approach from the WHO will \u201clead to more death and suffering from smoking.\u201d \u201c100 experts have spoken, and consumers agree that vaping and other methods of tobacco harm reduction must be at the forefront of saving lives. The WHO ignores that fact for the moment, but we\u2019re asking them to listen. 200 million lives depend on it. It is time to end the war on vaping,\u201d said WVA Director Michael Landl.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0press release\u00a0by the WVA emphasized the need that the WHO recognizes its ineffective methodology and consults with science and consumers in order to save millions of lives. \u201cWe present below our three main requests from the World Health Organisations ahead of their tobacco control conference COP9 in November:<\/p>\n
