{"id":3276,"date":"2022-10-20T04:42:23","date_gmt":"2022-10-20T08:42:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=3276"},"modified":"2022-10-24T04:43:33","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T08:43:33","slug":"the-wvas-backvapingbeatsmoking-campaign-is-on-the-road-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/eu\/the-wvas-backvapingbeatsmoking-campaign-is-on-the-road-again\/","title":{"rendered":"The WVA\u2019s #BackVapingBeatSmoking Campaign is on The Road Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>As of October 5th, the World Vapers\u2019 Alliance (WVA) #BackVapingBeatSmoking tour is back on the road with the aim of spreading the message that vaping can save 19 million lives in Europe.<\/h4>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/eu\/back-vaping-beat-smoking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> campaign<\/a> was first launched in the Summer of 2021 when the WVA unveiled a new graffiti mural outside the European Parliament at the European with a clear message: 19 million lives could be saved in Europe by endorsing vaping.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the launch was attended by a number of vapers around Europe and MEP Peter Liese and WVS director Michael Landl, highlighted the potential of vaping products. \u201cVaping has the potential to save 19 million lives in Europe. Tomorrow, the Beating Cancer Committee in the European Parliament (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2022\/01\/18\/eu-committee-urged-to-include-tobacco-harm-reduction-strategies-in-cancer-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BECA<\/a>) meets to discuss proposals to reduce the harm caused by smoking tobacco. They have the opportunity to make history and save lives IF they back vaping as a tool to beat smoking. Our message to them is clear \u2013 choose science and save lives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This time round, the campaign was launch on October 5th in Strasbourg, France with a Don\u2019t Let 19 Million Lives Fall protest art installation, and will spread across ten cities within six countries between October and November 2022.
