Siete grupos de presi\u00f3n de toda Europa han escrito un\u00a0carta abierta<\/a>\u00a0Dirigida a la Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente (DG SANTE) de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, a Ursula von der Leyen (Presidenta de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea) y a Oliv\u00e9r V\u00e1rhelyi (Comisario de Salud y Seguridad Alimentaria), la carta solicita que cesen su infundada campa\u00f1a contra la reducci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os del tabaco. En ella, se les insta a reconsiderar el rumbo de la pr\u00f3xima revisi\u00f3n de la Directiva sobre productos del tabaco.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La Alianza Mundial de Vapeadores ha comunicado a Planet of the Vapes que la carta cuestiona directamente el informe de evaluaci\u00f3n de la TPD publicado por la Comisi\u00f3n a principios de este mes.<\/p>\n

"Pide a la Comisi\u00f3n que aplique un marco proporcional al riesgo, proteja el acceso de los adultos a alternativas menos da\u00f1inas y aprenda de pa\u00edses como\u00a0<\/i>Suecia, la Rep\u00fablica Checa y Grecia<\/i><\/a>, que logr\u00f3 algunas de las disminuciones m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas del tabaquismo en Europa al adoptar la reducci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os en lugar de restringirla,<\/i>\u201d\u2014dec\u00eda.<\/p>\n
