Berl\u00edn, 22 de enero de 2026 \u2013 La World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) kritisiert den aktuellen Vorsto\u00df<\/a> von Ern\u00e4hrungs- und Landwirtschaftsminister Alois Rainer (CSU) scharf. Unter dem Deckmantel einer \u00c4nderung der Tabakerzeugnisverordnung plant das Ministerium ein Verbot von Menthol sowie 13 weiteren Inhaltsstoffen und K\u00fchlungsmitteln in E-Zigaretten. Da Menthol als Bestandteil in fast allen g\u00e4ngigen Geschmacksrichtungen enthalten ist, kommt dies einem faktischen Aromaverbot durch die Hintert\u00fcr gleich.<\/p>\n

Besonders bedenklich ist, dasser weitreichende Eingriff per Verordnung und somit ohne ordentliches demokratisches Verfahren im Parlament erfolgen soll. Aromen sind f\u00fcr erwachsene Raucher entscheidend, um den Umstieg auf weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen erfolgreich zu vollziehen.<\/p>\n

Anstatt durch Verbote den ohnehin bl\u00fchenden Schwarzmarkt weiter zu befeuern, sollte die Bundesregierung lieber Nikotin-Pouches endlich legalisieren und auf Aromenvielfalt setzen, um das Rauchen effektiv zu bek\u00e4mpfen Wer den legalen Market attackiert, spielt direkt der organisierten Kriminalit\u00e4t in die H\u00e4nde.\u201c<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Aktuelle Umfragedaten zeigen deutlich, dass erwachsene Dampfer \u00fcberwiegend Nicht-Tabak-Aromen bevorzugen. Laut dem j\u00fcngsten Eurobar\u00f3metro<\/a> sind Frucht- und S\u00fc\u00dfgeschmacksrichtungen mit 68 % am beliebtesten, w\u00e4hrend Tabakaromen nur von 38 % genutzt werden. Erfahrungen aus L\u00e4ndern mit Aromaverboten zeigen zudem, dass solche Ma\u00dfnahmen scheitern: En Estonia<\/a> mischten 60 % der Nutzer ihre Aromen nach dem Verbot selbst oder kauften sie ilegal, und in Dinamarca<\/a> Geben \u00fcber 90 % der Dampfer an, dass verbotene Aromen weiterhin leicht verf\u00fcgbar sind. In den USA f\u00fchrten lokale Verbote sogar zu einem Anstieg der Raucherquoten<\/a> und zu h\u00f6heren Zigarettenverk\u00e4ufen.<\/p>\n
