Dubl\u00edn, 23 de junio de 2025<\/strong> \u2013 Tras el espect\u00e1culo de luces de ayer, la Alianza Mundial de Vapeadores contin\u00faa su \u2019Voces silenciadas: \u00a1Los consumidores importan!<\/a>\u201dcampa\u00f1a con una protesta silenciosa en el Conferencia Mundial sobre el Control del Tabaco<\/a> (WCTC). Manifestantes, con la boca tapada con cinta adhesiva, se congregan en solidaridad frente al centro de conferencias, representando la continua exclusi\u00f3n de los consumidores de nicotina de los debates pol\u00edticos cruciales.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Mientras delegados y expertos debaten en el interior sobre el futuro del control del tabaco, los consumidores permanecen al margen: sus experiencias y voces son ignoradas.<\/p>\n

Michael Landl, director de la Alianza Mundial de Vapeadores, afirma:<\/p>\n

\u201cEs un s\u00edmbolo de c\u00f3mo se silencia a los consumidores en estas discusiones. <\/em>Estamos aqu\u00ed, nuestras historias importan y es hora de que los pol\u00edticos empiecen a escuchar.<\/em><\/strong> En lugar de prohibir los sabores y las alternativas m\u00e1s seguras, necesitamos pol\u00edticas que protejan tanto a los j\u00f3venes como a los fumadores adultos que desean dejar de fumar. <\/em>Silenciar a los consumidores no es la soluci\u00f3n.<\/em><\/strong>"

La protesta se produce en medio de la creciente preocupaci\u00f3n por la postura agresiva de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) contra la reducci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os, incluidas las recientes exigencias de Prohibir los productos de tabaco y nicotina con sabor.<\/a>.
