Black market prices can also be significantly higher than legal prices, which can lead to violence and organized crime.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Increase in crime:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Prohibition can lead to an increase in crime related to the production, sale, and consumption of the banned substance.
