{"id":3340,"date":"2022-10-31T06:36:23","date_gmt":"2022-10-31T10:36:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=3340"},"modified":"2022-11-14T06:37:51","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T11:37:51","slug":"the-backvapingbeatsmoking-campaign-is-in-warsaw-urging-lawmakers-to-embrace-thr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/en_gb\/the-backvapingbeatsmoking-campaign-is-in-warsaw-urging-lawmakers-to-embrace-thr\/","title":{"rendered":"The BackVapingBeatSmoking Campaign is in Warsaw Urging Lawmakers to Embrace &hellip;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>After launching for the second time earlier this month, the World Vapers\u2019 Alliance\u2019s (WVA) campaign is in Poland\u2019s Capital encouraging local politicians to embrace vaping as a tobacco harm reduction tool.<\/h4>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/en_gb\/back-vaping-beat-smoking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> campaign<\/a> was first launched in the Summer of 2021 when the WVA unveiled a new graffiti mural outside the European Parliament at the European with a clear message: \u201c19 million lives could be saved in Europe by endorsing vaping.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the launch was attended by a number of vapers around Europe and MEP Peter Liese and WVA director Michael Landl, highlighted the potential of vaping products. \u201cVaping has the potential to save 19 million lives in Europe. Tomorrow, the Beating Cancer Committee in the European Parliament (BECA) meets to discuss proposals to reduce the harm caused by smoking tobacco. They have the opportunity to make history and save lives IF they back vaping as a tool to beat smoking. Our message to them is clear \u2013 choose science and save lives\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This time round, the campaign launched on October 5th in Strasbourg, France, with a \u201cDon\u2019t Let 19 Million Lives Fall\u201d protest art installation, and it will spread across ten cities within six countries between October and November 2022.
