We need as many options as possible to achieve the Commission\u2019s own 5% tobacco use target. Vaping, nicotine pouches and heat-not-burn products all help people quit smoking and are less harmful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Landl added that the commission sadly keeps ignoring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2021\/10\/26\/yet-another-study-indicated-the-effectiveness-of-e-cig-use-for-smoking-cessation\/\">the science in favour of vaping<\/a>. \u201cThe Commission systematically ignores the wealth of scientific evidence pointing to the benefits, not to mention the first-hand experience of millions of vapers. The Commission\u2019s negative approach to harm reduction will do nothing but boost the black market and push people back to smoking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of recommending smokers to switch to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vapingpost.com\/2019\/07\/04\/how-is-vaping-95-safer-than-smoking\/\">less harmful alternatives<\/a>, Commissioner Kyriakides refuses to listen to science, experts, and consumers.
