Our alliance includes groups representing vapers \u2013 our partners \u2013 as well as individual vapers from around the world.<\/p><p>Governments worldwide are increasingly restricting vaping, through measures like making them more expensive and banning flavours. Despite an ever growing amount of independent international evidence proving that vaping is much, much less harmful than smoking, lawmakers continue these crackdowns.<\/p><p>The World Vapers\u2019 Alliance was established to defend vaping by providing a unified platform that makes vapers\u2019 voices heard by those in the corridors of power. For too long, policy decisions about vaping have been made in a vacuum. Politicians have ignored our voices for entirely too long. The time has come to finally make them listen. We were launched in 2020 to connect passionate vapers around the world and empower them to make a difference for their communities. The goal of the World Vapers\u2019 Alliance is to defend vaping by providing a unified platform that makes vapers\u2019 voices heard in the corridors of power.  In order to achieve this, we are agile and unapologetic about defending and supporting vapers\u2019 rights. One of the main goals of each of our campaigns is to connect vapers with policymakers and gain media attention. The general public deserves to know the benefits of vaping. Instead, they actively participate in scaremongering tactics and spread misinformation about vaping. This has transformed the fight against smoking into a fight against vaping. Such an approach has devastating and widespread consequences, chief amongst them being fewer people switching to less harmful alternatives.<\/p><p>The World Vapers\u2019 Alliance was established by and receives funding from the Consumer Choice Center. We are proud to have full independence in our work. We are committed to only representing the interests of consumers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their own health and advocating for consumer access to low-risk nicotine products
