Unter dem Deckmantel einer \u00c4nderung der Tabakerzeugnisverordnung plant das Ministry ein Verbot von Menthol sowie 13 weiteren Inhaltsstoffen und K\u00fchlungsmitteln \u03c3\u03c4\u03bf E-Zigaretten. Da Menthol als Bestandteil in fast allen g\u00e4ngigen Geschmacksrichtungen enthalten ist, kommt dies einem faktischen Aromaverbot durch die Hintert\u00fcr gleich.<\/p>\n

Besonders bedenklich ist, dass dieser weitreichende Eingriff per Verordnung und somit ohne ordentliches demokratisches Verfahren im Parlament erfolgen soll. Aromen sind f\u00fcr erwachsene Raucher entscheidend, um den Umstieg auf weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen erfolgreich zu vollziehen.<\/p>\n

\u201eDieser Vorsto\u00df von \u03a5\u03c0\u03bf\u03c5\u03c1\u03b3\u03cc\u03c2 Rainer ignoriert die Realit\u00e4t. Aromen sind kein Lifestyle-Zusatz, sondern der Hauptgrund, warum Erwachsene dauerhaft von der Zigarette loskommen. Erfahrungen aus L\u00e4ndern mit Aromaverboten zeigen zudem, dass solche Ma\u00dfnahmen scheitern: In \u0395\u03c3\u03b8\u03bf\u03bd\u03af\u03b1<\/a> mischten 60 % der Nutzer ihre Aromen nach dem Verbot selbst oder kauften sie \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03ac\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03bf, und in \u0394\u03b1\u03bd\u03af\u03b1<\/a> geben \u00fcber 90 % der Dampfer an, dass verbotene Aromen weiterhin leicht verf\u00fcgbar sind. In den USA f\u00fchrten lokale Verbote sogar zu einem Anstieg der Raucherquoten<\/a> und zu h\u00f6heren Zigarettenverk\u00e4ufen.<\/p>\n

Ein Verbot von Menthol und K\u00fchlstoffen wird den regulierten Markt schw\u00e4chen und Konsumenten in die Arme \u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03ac\u03bd\u03bf\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2 Hinterm\u00e4nner treiben.
