Mai 2026 \u2013 Der neueste Kompromissentwurf des EU-Rates zur Tabaksteuerrichtlinie (TED), <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.politico.eu\/news\/218123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bericht von Politico<\/a> Wie die World Vapers&#039; Alliance feststellte, orientiert sich die Besteuerung von Nikotinprodukten nicht an wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen oder dem \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheitswesen. Stattdessen scheint die zypriotische Pr\u00e4sidentschaft die Steuers\u00e4tze je nach Produktkategorie willk\u00fcrlich zu \u00e4ndern, um eine f\u00fcr alle Mitgliedstaaten akzeptable L\u00f6sung zu finden.<\/p>\n<p>Dies ist die j\u00fcngste \u00c4nderung in einer Reihe von Anpassungen seit der ersten Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Kommissionsvorschlags, und f\u00fcr die wiederholten Anpassungen der Steuers\u00e4tze wurde nie eine technische Begr\u00fcndung geliefert. In der Diskussion geht es nicht um die Verbesserung der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit, sondern um die Steigerung der Steuereinnahmen bei gleichzeitiger Befriedigung aller Mitgliedstaaten\u201d, f\u00fcgte G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez hinzu.<\/p>\n<p>Die Weltallianz der Dampfer fordert die EU-Mitgliedstaaten dringend auf, ein Steuersystem abzulehnen, das auf politischen Kompromissen statt auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen beruht.
