Gemeinsam erhalten sie Millionen an \u00f6ffentlichen Geldern. Und gemeinsam lehnen sie konsequent E-Zigaretten, Nikotinbeutel und aromatisierte Produkte ab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das Problem ist, dass die Wissenschaft ihre Positionen nicht st\u00fctzt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dampfen ist als ... etabliert <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/de_de\/harm-reduction-vaping-fact-sheet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternative<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Public Health England sch\u00e4tzt den Schaden von E-Zigaretten auf etwa 951 %. Cochrane Reviews kamen mit hoher Sicherheit zu dem Ergebnis, dass E-Zigaretten herk\u00f6mmliche Nikotinersatztherapien bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung \u00fcbertreffen. Die britische Regierung hat ihre gesamte Tabakstrategie darauf aufgebaut. Auch die kanadische Regierung erkl\u00e4rte, dass der vollst\u00e4ndige Umstieg auf E-Zigaretten weniger sch\u00e4dlich sei als das Weiterrauchen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All das scheint diesen Organisationen egal zu sein.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die kanadische Krebsgesellschaft setzt sich f\u00fcr ein Verbot von Aromen in E-Zigaretten ein, obwohl Studien zeigen, dass Erwachsene, die aromatisierte E-Zigaretten konsumieren, eine um 2301 % h\u00f6here Wahrscheinlichkeit haben, mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren, als diejenigen, die Tabakprodukte mit oder ohne Aroma verwenden. Die kanadische Lungenvereinigung dr\u00e4ngte darauf, Nikotinbeutel nur noch hinter dem Apothekentresen abzugeben, wodurch ein bew\u00e4hrtes Hilfsmittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung schwerer zug\u00e4nglich wird. Die Lungengesundheitsstiftung, die dieselbe Wohlt\u00e4tigkeitsregistrierung wie die Lungenvereinigung von Ontario hat, bezeichnet das Dampfen als \u201cBig Tobacco 2.0\u201d. Die \u00c4rzte f\u00fcr ein rauchfreies Kanada starteten Plakatkampagnen, um ein bundesweites Verbot von Aromen zu fordern.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bez\u00fcglich des Dampfens unter Jugendlichen behaupten mehrere dieser Gruppen, das Problem nehme zu. Kanadas eigene Statistiken sprechen jedoch eine andere Sprache. Die kanadische Gesundheitsstudie f\u00fcr Kinder und Jugendliche ergab, dass der Konsum von E-Zigaretten unter Jugendlichen von 13,21 % im Jahr 2019 auf 7,21 % im Jahr 2023 zur\u00fcckging \u2013 ein R\u00fcckgang um fast 50 %. Die Organisationen, die die gegenteilige Darstellung verbreiten, tun dies mit \u00f6ffentlichen Geldern.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das hat seinen Preis. Jeder Raucher, der keinen Zugang zu aromatisierten E-Zigaretten hat oder Nikotinbeutel nur hinter verschlossenen Apothekentheken findet, ist ein Raucher, der m\u00f6glicherweise nicht aufh\u00f6rt. Rauchen t\u00f6tet. Die Alternativen sind deutlich weniger sch\u00e4dlich. Den Zugang zu diesen Alternativen einzuschr\u00e4nken, angeblich zum Schutz der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit, ist nicht nur irref\u00fchrend, sondern sch\u00e4dlich.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Versch\u00e4rfend kommt die Finanzierungsstruktur hinzu. Diese Gruppen geben sich als unabh\u00e4ngige Stimmen aus. Das sind sie nicht. Die kanadische Krebsgesellschaft erhielt in einem einzigen Finanzjahr \u00fcber 1,5 Billionen US-Dollar an staatlichen Geldern. Die Organisation \u201e\u00c4rzte f\u00fcr ein rauchfreies Kanada\u201c bezog fast 851 Billionen US-Dollar ihres Budgets aus staatlichen Mitteln. Wenn Regierungen diese Organisationen zur Rechtfertigung restriktiver Ma\u00dfnahmen heranziehen, berufen sie sich auf Lobbyarbeit, die sie gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils selbst finanziert haben.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raucher in Kanada verdienen Besseres.
