Februar 2026 \u2013 Die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) begr\u00fc\u00dft eine neuer Bericht<\/a> von der franz\u00f6sischen Gesundheitsbeh\u00f6rde ANSES, die klarstellt, dass das Dampfen weniger sch\u00e4dlich ist als das Rauchen und als Option zur Risikominderung f\u00fcr erwachsene Raucher weiterhin zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen sollte.<\/p>\n

Die franz\u00f6sische Arzneimittelbeh\u00f6rde ANSES kommt in ihrer Expertenmeinung zu dem Schluss, dass der Verzicht auf Verbrennung der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Vorteil von E-Zigaretten ist. Die Arbeitsgruppe der Beh\u00f6rde stellt ausdr\u00fccklich fest, dass die gesundheitlichen Risiken des Dampfens insgesamt geringer sind als die des Rauchens. Gleichzeitig merkt die ANSES an, dass nur etwa 21 % der erwachsenen Dampfer in Frankreich noch nie geraucht haben. Dies zeigt, dass das Dampfen \u00fcberwiegend von aktuellen oder ehemaligen Rauchern genutzt wird und nicht viele Nichtraucher anzieht.<\/p>\n

\u201cDieses Urteil der ANSES erg\u00e4nzt die bestehenden Erkenntnisse in der franz\u00f6sischen Debatte.\u201d<\/em> sagte Alberto G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez, Policy Manager der World Vapers' Alliance. \u201cDie oberste Gesundheitsbeh\u00f6rde Frankreichs erkennt nun eindeutig an, dass Dampfen weniger riskant ist als Rauchen und dass der fehlende Verbrennungsprozess der entscheidende Vorteil ist. Die Politik kann nicht l\u00e4nger so tun, als seien alle Nikotinprodukte gleich.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Der Bericht enth\u00e4lt au\u00dferdem praktische Empfehlungen f\u00fcr Raucher und ermutigt sie zum Umstieg auf E-Zigaretten, falls sie mit herk\u00f6mmlichen Nikotinersatztherapien nicht mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren k\u00f6nnen. Die franz\u00f6sische Regulierungsbeh\u00f6rde ANSES weist zudem auf eine besorgniserregende Diskrepanz zwischen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und der \u00f6ffentlichen Wahrnehmung hin: Viele Franzosen glauben nach wie vor, dass E-Zigaretten genauso riskant oder sogar riskanter als herk\u00f6mmliches Rauchen sind, obwohl die vorliegenden Beweise das Gegenteil belegen.<\/p>\n
