Beim aktuellen Tempo verschiebt sich das 5-Prozent-Ziel bis 2040 auf 2100, also 60 Jahre zu sp\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, sagte:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201e<\/em><strong><em>Der Safe Hearts Plan l\u00e4sst Raucher im Stich, indem er die Schadensminimierung v\u00f6llig ignoriert und das Dampfen und die E-Zigarettenbeutel als Einstieg in die Sucht anstatt als Hilfsmittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung betrachtet.<\/em><\/strong><em> L\u00e4nder wie Schweden haben den Trend zum Rauchen umgekehrt und die Herz-Kreislauf-Ergebnisse durch weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen verbessert, anstatt diese Alternativen anzugreifen, die Teil der L\u00f6sung sein sollten. <\/em><strong><em>Das ist eine verpasste Chance. Die \u00dcberarbeitung der Tabakproduktrichtlinie muss nun zumindest Schadensminimierung und risikobasierte Regulierung zu ihren Eckpfeilern machen, sonst wird die EU niemals rauchfrei werden.<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Der Safe Hearts Plan beinhaltet die Zusage der Kommission, die \u00dcberarbeitung der Tabakproduktrichtlinie zu beschleunigen. Tschechien senkte die Raucherquote innerhalb von drei Jahren um 23 Prozent durch pragmatische Ma\u00dfnahmen. Griechenland reduzierte sie um 14 Prozent durch die F\u00f6rderung von Schadensminimierung. Die EU-Kommission ignoriert diese Lehren.<\/p>\n<p>Die Weltallianz der Dampfer appelliert daher an die Abgeordneten des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments und die Mitgliedstaaten, sich f\u00fcr eine wissenschaftlich fundierte und verbraucherfreundliche Nikotinregulierung mit fairen Steuern einzusetzen, die die tats\u00e4chlichen Risiken widerspiegeln.
