Sie betonten, dass der aktuelle Anti-Dampf-Ansatz der WHO \u2019zu mehr Tod und Leid durch Rauchen f\u00fchren wird\u201c. \u201d100 Experten haben sich ge\u00e4u\u00dfert, und die Konsumenten sind sich einig, dass Dampfen und andere Methoden der Tabakschadensminderung im Vordergrund stehen m\u00fcssen, wenn es darum geht, Leben zu retten. Die WHO ignoriert diese Tatsache momentan, aber wir fordern sie auf, zuzuh\u00f6ren. 200 Millionen Leben h\u00e4ngen davon ab. Es ist an der Zeit, den Krieg gegen das Dampfen zu beenden\u201c, sagte WVA-Direktor Michael Landl.<\/p>\n<p>In einer Pressemitteilung betonte die WVA die Notwendigkeit, dass die WHO ihre ineffektive Methodik anerkennt und sich mit Wissenschaft und Verbrauchern ber\u00e4t, um Millionen von Leben zu retten. \u201cIm Folgenden stellen wir unsere drei Hauptforderungen an die Weltgesundheitsorganisation im Vorfeld ihrer Tabakkontrollkonferenz COP9 im November dar:<\/p>\n<p>WAS VERBRAUCHER VON DER WHO WOLLEN:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-bottom: 12px;\">\n<li>Die Anerkennung und Einbeziehung von Methoden zur Reduzierung von Tabaksch\u00e4den<\/li>\n<li>Das Recht auf Zugang und Erschwinglichkeit f\u00fcr Verbraucher<\/li>\n<li>DIE EFFEKTIVE TEILNAHME DER VERBRAUCHER AN DEN DISKUSSIONEN AUF DER COP9\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>L\u00e4nder, die den Richtlinien der WHO folgen, k\u00e4mpfen weiterhin mit hohen Raucherquoten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Im Einklang mit diesen Argumenten hat ein k\u00fcrzlich erschienenes 59-seitiges Wei\u00dfbuch, das Fallstudien aus verschiedenen L\u00e4ndern zur Messung der Fortschritte bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung diskutiert, gezeigt, dass diejenigen, die den Empfehlungen der Weltgesundheitsorganisation folgen, weiterhin mit h\u00f6heren Raucherquoten zu k\u00e4mpfen haben.<\/p>\n<p>Die Publikation mit dem Titel \u201cVaping funktioniert. Internationale Best Practices: Vereinigtes K\u00f6nigreich, Neuseeland, Frankreich und Kanada\u201d wurde von der Property Rights Alliance herausgegeben. Sie enthielt vier Fallstudien von Christopher Snowdon (Institute of Economic Affairs, Vereinigtes K\u00f6nigreich), Louis Houlbrooke (New Zealand Taxpayers&#039; Union, Neuseeland), Patrick Coquart (IREF, Frankreich) und Prof. Ian Irvine (Concordia University, Kanada) und best\u00e4tigte, worauf Experten im Bereich der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit schon lange hingewiesen haben.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cL\u00e4nder, die fortschrittliche Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Tabakschadensminderung anwenden, verzeichnen einen deutlichen R\u00fcckgang der Raucherquoten.
