Ziel der Veranstaltung ist die kritische Auseinandersetzung mit der neunten Vertragsstaatenkonferenz (COP9) der WHO zum Rahmen\u00fcbereinkommen zur Eind\u00e4mmung des Tabakkonsums (FCTC). \u201csCOPe \u2013 das Informationsgegenmittel zur geheimnisvollen WHO-COP9 \u2013 ist eine f\u00fcnft\u00e4gige YouTube-Simultan\u00fcbertragung, die am Montag, dem 8. November, beginnt\u201c, hei\u00dft es in der Pressemitteilung.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Umfang<\/strong><br \/>\nsCOPe hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Dampfern eine Stimme zu geben, da sie von allen Diskussionen auf der COP9 ausgeschlossen waren.<\/p>\n<p>Die weltweite \u00dcbertragung bringt Experten von THR und Verbrauchersch\u00fctzer f\u00fcr sicherere Nikotinprodukte zusammen und will Dampfern eine Stimme geben, da sie von den Diskussionen auf der COP9 ausgeschlossen waren. sCOPe wird aktuell live auf YouTube unter https:\/\/bit.ly\/3aWBPxi und auf Facebook \u00fcbertragen.<\/p>\n<p>Loucas hob zu Recht hervor, dass die Delegierten der COP9 offen f\u00fcr alle Erkenntnisse zur Tabakschadensminderung sein sollten, doch leider ist das Gegenteil der Fall. \u201cDie Delegierten der COP9 sollten offen sein f\u00fcr alles, was nachweislich den Schaden reduziert und die j\u00e4hrlich acht Millionen tabakbedingten Todesf\u00e4lle weltweit verringern und letztendlich verhindern kann. Dennoch verschlie\u00dfen sie sich dem Dampfen als vielversprechendster neuer L\u00f6sung zur Tabakschadensminderung.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c\u2026die COP9-Delegierten verschlie\u00dfen Augen und Ohren vor einer Option zur Schadensminderung.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die WHO sch\u00fcrt derweil weiterhin Panikmache gegen bew\u00e4hrte und wirksame Alternativen zur Schadensminderung. \u201cWir sind entsetzt, dass die WHO und die Delegierten der COP9 die Augen und Ohren vor einer Schadensminderungsoption verschlie\u00dfen, die sich bereits bew\u00e4hrt hat, indem sie selbst starke Raucher zum Aufh\u00f6ren bewegt, nachdem etablierte Methoden versagt haben. Das ist ein Triumph der Ideologie \u00fcber die Wissenschaft\u201d, sagte Loucas.<\/p>\n<p>Die World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA) hat sich ebenfalls zu Wort gemeldet.
