Italiens Vorreiterrolle bei der F\u00f6rderung evidenzbasierter Regulierungen ist genau das, was Europa braucht, um seinen negativen Kurs umzukehren.\u201c. <\/em><strong><em>Europa braucht risikobasierte Regulierung statt wirkungsloser Verbote und \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfiger Steuererh\u00f6hungen.<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trotz wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse, die belegen, dass Dampfen mindestens 951 % weniger sch\u00e4dlich ist als Rauchen, dr\u00e4ngen die politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger der EU weiterhin auf \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfige Regulierungen, die Raucher davon abhalten, auf weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen umzusteigen.<\/p>\n<p>Landl f\u00fcgte hinzu: <em>\u201cWenn die EU ihr Ziel einer rauchfreien Welt wirklich erreichen will, muss sie dem Beispiel Italiens folgen und Strategien zur Schadensminderung verfolgen.\u201c. <\/em><strong><em>Die EU riskiert, sich in \u00fcberholten Politiken zu verfangen, die eher Zigaretten sch\u00fctzen als die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit.<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Da Griechenland und Rum\u00e4nien Italiens Forderung nach verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfiger Regulierung unterst\u00fctzen, keimt neue Hoffnung auf eine Politik, die Innovation und Verbraucherwahlfreiheit in den Vordergrund stellt.
