{"id":607,"date":"2021-11-18T18:09:34","date_gmt":"2021-11-18T23:09:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cccwva.wpengine.com\/?p=607"},"modified":"2022-02-05T16:53:58","modified_gmt":"2022-02-05T21:53:58","slug":"time-for-europe-to-rethink-vaping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/de_de\/time-for-europe-to-rethink-vaping\/","title":{"rendered":"Zeit f\u00fcr Europa, das Dampfen zu \u00fcberdenken?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Das Thema E-Zigaretten stand in den letzten Monaten weit oben auf der Agenda der Europ\u00e4ischen Union, da das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament seine Version des Europ\u00e4ischen Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplans finalisiert hat. Bernd Mayer, Professor f\u00fcr Pharmakologie und Toxikologie an der Universit\u00e4t Graz in \u00d6sterreich, argumentiert jedoch, dass E-Zigaretten Teil der L\u00f6sung sein und viele Leben retten k\u00f6nnen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Das Dampfen ist in der EU derzeit ein hei\u00df diskutiertes Thema, insbesondere im Hinblick auf den bevorstehenden europ\u00e4ischen Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplan. Wie sollte die EU also mit dem Dampfen umgehen?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Es ist wichtig zu verstehen, dass Dampfen nicht Rauchen ist. Beides gleichzusetzen, w\u00e4re ein Fehler. Wissenschaftlich ist erwiesen, dass Dampfen weniger sch\u00e4dlich ist als Rauchen. Angesichts von 700.000 Todesf\u00e4llen j\u00e4hrlich durch rauchbedingte Krankheiten und einer Alternative, die laut Public Health England mindestens 95 % weniger sch\u00e4dlich ist, muss die EU das Dampfen als Methode zur Schadensminderung f\u00fcr Raucher anerkennen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu herk\u00f6mmlichen Zigaretten erzeugen E-Zigaretten keinen Rauch, und die Emission toxischer Verbrennungsprodukte wird durch 99% deutlich reduziert. Daher ist das Lebenszeitkrebsrisiko f\u00fcr Dampfer um ein Vielfaches geringer als f\u00fcr Raucher. Studien zeigen zudem, dass sich die Herz-Kreislauf- und Lungenfunktion bei Rauchern, die auf E-Zigaretten umsteigen, drastisch verbessert. Demnach ist der Umstieg auf E-Zigaretten nicht mit einem klinisch relevanten, schwerwiegenden Gesundheitsrisiko verbunden und bietet Vorteile f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit.<\/p>\n<p><em>Trotz all dieser Beweise stehen einige Berichte dem Dampfen skeptisch gegen\u00fcber, wie beispielsweise der j\u00fcngste SCHEER-Bericht der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Der SCHEER-Bericht ist alles andere als eine objektive Forschungsarbeit. Obwohl die Beurteilung relativer Risiken f\u00fcr den Ansatz der Schadensminderung zentral ist, wurde der Bericht so konzipiert, dass ein Vergleich zwischen Dampfen und Rauchen ausgeschlossen ist. Dies f\u00fchrte zu einer sinnlosen Arbeit mit geringem wissenschaftlichem Wert, die das Konzept der Schadensminderung (absichtlich oder unabsichtlich) v\u00f6llig ignoriert. Bedauerlicherweise nutzen einige politische Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger diesen Bericht als Argument f\u00fcr eine ungerechtfertigt strenge Regulierung des Dampfens.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDie \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit hat ihre berechtigten Bem\u00fchungen zur Senkung der Raucherquoten im letzten Jahrzehnt in einen ungerechtfertigten Krieg gegen das Nikotin umgewandelt.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Trotz umfangreicher Forschung ist das Dampfen in vielen L\u00e4ndern nach wie vor sehr umstritten. Woran liegt das?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Es gibt in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit tats\u00e4chlich gravierende Missverst\u00e4ndnisse bez\u00fcglich des Dampfens und seiner grundlegenden Unterschiede zum Rauchen. Die Fehlvorstellungen sind vielf\u00e4ltig, doch die falsche Wahrnehmung von Nikotin ist zweifellos ein besonders besorgniserregendes und hochaktuelles Beispiel. 1976 erkl\u00e4rte Prof. Michael Russell, ein Pionier der Tabakabh\u00e4ngigkeitsforschung und der Entwicklung von Entw\u00f6hnungsmitteln: \u201cDie Menschen rauchen wegen des Nikotins, aber sie sterben am Teer.\u201d Nichtsdestotrotz hat die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit ihre berechtigten Bem\u00fchungen zur Senkung der Raucherquoten im letzten Jahrzehnt in einen ungerechtfertigten Krieg gegen das Nikotin verwandelt.<\/p>\n<p>Nikotinhaltige Medikamente wie Nikotinpflaster oder Nikotininhalatoren sind rezeptfrei erh\u00e4ltlich und werden von Gesundheitsbeh\u00f6rden Rauchern uneingeschr\u00e4nkt empfohlen. Gleichzeitig warnen dieselben Beh\u00f6rden jedoch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig vor Nikotin in E-Zigaretten. Sie erkl\u00e4ren diese harmlose Genussmittel mit \u00e4hnlichen Eigenschaften wie Koffein pl\u00f6tzlich zu einer hochgiftigen und s\u00fcchtig machenden Substanz.
