Dezember 2021 \u2013 Br\u00fcssel:<\/strong>\u00a0Viele europ\u00e4ische Politiker haben wenig bis gar keine Kenntnisse \u00fcber neue Nikotinprodukte, wollen diese aber dennoch regulieren. Die World Vapers&#039; Alliance (WVA) ist zutiefst besorgt dar\u00fcber, dass Politiker, denen es an ausreichendem Wissen und der Kenntnis der Faktenlage mangelt, \u00fcber die Zukunft des Dampfens entscheiden wollen.<\/p>\n<p>ECigIntelligence\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecigintelligence.com\/how-have-meps-changed-in-their-views-about-new-nicotine-products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">befragt<\/a>\u00a0Die Mitglieder des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments (MdEP) wurden zum zweiten Mal befragt (die letzte Umfrage fand 2020 statt), und die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass viele MdEPs weiterhin falsch oder gar nicht \u00fcber das Dampfen und andere, weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen zum Rauchen informiert sind.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, Direktor der WVA, kommentierte die Umfrage:<\/p>\n<p>\u201e<em>Es ist zutiefst besorgniserregend, dass Entscheidungen \u00fcber die Zukunft des Dampfens ohne fundierte Informationen getroffen werden. Politische Entscheidungen sollten rational und wissenschaftlich fundiert sein, nicht auf vagen Annahmen beruhen. Es ist wiederholt bewiesen worden, dass Dampfen weniger sch\u00e4dlich ist als Rauchen, weshalb die Gesundheitspolitik dies ber\u00fccksichtigen muss. Wir appellieren an alle Politiker, auf die Wissenschaft und die Konsumenten zu h\u00f6ren, die am st\u00e4rksten unter einer unzureichenden Regulierung des Dampfens leiden. Politik muss evidenzbasiert sein.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Wichtigste Ergebnisse der Umfrage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mehr als ein Drittel der EU-Abgeordneten hat keinerlei Kenntnisse \u00fcber neue Nikotinprodukte (Vaping, Tabakerhitzer, Beutel), und mehr als jeder Zehnte ist sich keiner einzigen davon bewusst.<\/li>\n<li>Unglaublich, aber 28% glauben, dass Dampfen genauso sch\u00e4dlich oder sogar sch\u00e4dlicher ist als Rauchen, und weitere 18% wissen es \u00fcberhaupt nicht.<\/li>\n<li>Au\u00dferdem glaubt die Gruppe 16% f\u00e4lschlicherweise, dass das Dampfen Nichtraucher wahrscheinlich zum Rauchen von Zigaretten verleiten wird.<\/li>\n<li>Was Aromen betrifft, setzt sich der besorgniserregende Trend aus dem letzten Jahr fort. Daher hat die WVA gemeinsam mit der\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consumerchoicecenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Verbraucher-Wahlzentrum<\/a>\u00a0hat ver\u00f6ffentlicht\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/de_de\/six-reasons-why-the-war-on-nicotine-needs-to-end\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Policy Brief<\/a>\u00a0\u00fcber Nikotin und die unbeabsichtigten Folgen eines unwissenschaftlichen Krieges gegen Nikotin.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDie Debatte ist von Doppelmoral und Halbwahrheiten durchzogen. Dank Innovationen l\u00e4sst sich der Nikotinkonsum endlich von den sch\u00e4dlichen Auswirkungen des Rauchens entkoppeln und kann somit Millionen von Rauchern helfen, ihre Gesundheit zu verbessern. Dennoch werden E-Zigaretten und Nikotinkonsum im Allgemeinen zu Unrecht verteufelt.
