Eine Erh\u00f6hung der Steuern auf Vaping-Produkte f\u00fchrt jedoch oft zu unbeabsichtigten Folgen. Zahlreiche Studien haben gezeigt, dass bei steigenden Preisen f\u00fcr E-Liquids viele Benutzer, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/add.16002\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">insbesondere junge Erwachsene<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, wieder auf herk\u00f6mmliche Zigaretten umsteigen. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/36103752\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kreuzpreiseffekt<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> untergr\u00e4bt die Bem\u00fchungen im Bereich der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit, indem es die Raucherquote erh\u00f6ht, anstatt sie zu senken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, betonte: \u201eDie Besteuerung muss im Verh\u00e4ltnis zu den Risiken der Produkte stehen. Dampfen ist weniger sch\u00e4dlich als Rauchen, dennoch wird es durch diese Steuer \u00e4hnlich behandelt und untergr\u00e4bt damit die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit.\u201c <\/span><b>Raucher sollten zum Umstieg motiviert und nicht durch h\u00f6here Preise wieder zur Zigaretten zur\u00fcckgedr\u00e4ngt werden.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untersuchungen zeigen auch, dass h\u00f6here Steuern auf weniger sch\u00e4dliche Nikotinprodukte Raucher vom Umstieg abhalten, ein Problem, das insbesondere Gruppen mit niedrigem und mittlerem Einkommen betrifft. Was die Benutzer betrifft, so sind viele <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/scholars.uky.edu\/en\/publications\/intended-and-unintended-effects-of-e-cigarette-taxes-on-youth-tob\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dem Rauchen zuwenden<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, wodurch die positiven gesundheitlichen Ergebnisse in L\u00e4ndern wie Gro\u00dfbritannien und Schweden, die sich auf Schadensminimierung konzentrieren, zunichte gemacht werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alberto G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez, Policy Manager bei der World Vapers\u2018 Alliance, f\u00fcgte hinzu: \u201e<\/span><b>Eine Steuererh\u00f6hung f\u00fcr weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen ist kontraproduktiv.
