Die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA) hat ihre erhebliche Besorgnis \u00fcber die Forderungen der British Medical Association (BMA), des St\u00e4ndigen Ausschusses Europ\u00e4ischer \u00c4rzte (CPME) und der Europ\u00e4ischen Allianz f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit (EPHA) nach einem Verbot von Einweg-E-Zigaretten und tabakfreien Aromen zum Ausdruck gebracht. Laut WVA zielen diese Ma\u00dfnahmen zwar darauf ab, das Dampfen unter Jugendlichen einzud\u00e4mmen, ignorieren aber die Erfahrungen Zehntausender Europ\u00e4er und gef\u00e4hrden die durch den Einsatz von E-Zigaretten als Instrument der Schadensminderung erzielten Erfolge im Bereich der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Alberto G\u00f3mez Hern\u00e1ndez, Policy Manager der World Vapers' Alliance, erkl\u00e4rte:\u00a0\u201cDer Ansatz der EU zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung scheitert, und weitere Einschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr sicherere Alternativen werden die Erreichung der Ziele f\u00fcr eine rauchfreie Zukunft nur verz\u00f6gern. 80.000 Europ\u00e4er haben die Erkl\u00e4rung bereits unterzeichnet.\u2018<\/i>Jedes Leben z\u00e4hlt<\/i><\/a>\u2019'Petition zum Schutz sichererer Nikotinprodukte, und europ\u00e4ische Politiker m\u00fcssen diese bei der Gesetzgebung ber\u00fccksichtigen.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Die Absicht, junge Menschen vor Nikotinsucht zu sch\u00fctzen, ist zwar lobenswert, die WVA ist jedoch der Ansicht, dass solch strenge Ma\u00dfnahmen unbeabsichtigt dazu f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnten, dass erwachsene Dampfer wieder zu sch\u00e4dlicheren herk\u00f6mmlichen Zigaretten greifen und erwachsene Raucher vom Aufh\u00f6ren abhalten.<\/p>\n
