W\u00e4hrend die Abgeordneten zur Abstimmung \u00fcber Rishi Sunaks Anti-E-Zigaretten-Gesetzgebung anstanden, warnte die World Vapers' Alliance (WVA), dass Gro\u00dfbritannien am Rande einer gesundheitlichen Katastrophe stehe. Das Gesetz verbietet den Verkauf von Tabakwaren an Personen unter 15 Jahren, enth\u00e4lt aber auch Bestimmungen, die Raucher vom Umstieg auf E-Zigaretten abhalten sollen. In Turin verabschiedete der Stadtrat einen \u00c4nderungsantrag, der erhebliche Einschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr Rauchen und Dampfen einf\u00fchrt.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Die WVA warnte die britischen Abgeordneten davor, ihre Stimme f\u00fcr Sunaks Tabak- und Vape-Gesetzentwurf abzugeben, der nun in die n\u00e4chste Phase des Parlaments geht. Der Gesetzentwurf sieht vor, dass Personen, die nach 2009 geboren wurden, keine Zigaretten oder Tabakerhitzer mehr kaufen d\u00fcrfen. Das Parlament einigte sich au\u00dferdem unter anderem auf m\u00f6gliche Beschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr Aromen und Verpackungen von E-Zigaretten.<\/p>\n

\u201eDie Absicht, die Bev\u00f6lkerung vor der zunehmenden Rauchepidemie zu sch\u00fctzen, ist zwar lobenswert, doch das zus\u00e4tzliche Verbot von Tabakerhitzern gibt Anlass zur Sorge. Diese Produkte sind nachweislich deutlich weniger sch\u00e4dlich und haben zusammen mit aromatisierten E-Zigaretten und anderen Nikotinprodukten wie Pouches ma\u00dfgeblich dazu beigetragen, Millionen von Rauchern beim Aufh\u00f6ren zu helfen. Der Gesetzentwurf schafft einen gef\u00e4hrlichen Pr\u00e4zedenzfall f\u00fcr Ungleichbehandlung verschiedener Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen und birgt die Gefahr, dass er auch auf andere, weniger sch\u00e4dliche Produkte angewendet wird, die im Kampf gegen das Rauchen eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt haben.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0sagte Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers' Alliance.<\/p>\n
