November hat nun auch das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament in seiner Vollversammlung den Bericht angenommen, der die bedeutende Rolle des Dampfens bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung anerkennt. Diese umfassende Annahme durch das Parlament markiert einen Wendepunkt im Kampf gegen rauchbedingte Krankheiten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Bericht, der Teil der umfassenderen Initiative des Parlaments zu nicht\u00fcbertragbaren Krankheiten ist, erkennt das Dampfen nicht nur als wirksame Methode zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung an, sondern soll auch eine neue Richtung f\u00fcr die Gesundheitspolitik innerhalb der EU vorgeben. Die urspr\u00fcngliche Empfehlung des SANT, das Dampfen in bestimmten \u00f6ffentlichen Bereichen einzuschr\u00e4nken, ist jedoch weiterhin umstritten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, kommentiert diese j\u00fcngste Entwicklung:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDie vollst\u00e4ndige Annahme dieses Berichts durch das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament ist ein Schritt nach vorn. Sie unterstreicht einen bedeutenden Wandel hin zur Anerkennung der positiven Auswirkungen des Dampfens auf die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit. Dieser Stimme Geh\u00f6r zu schenken, ist nicht nur eine Frage der Politik, sondern auch der demokratischen Verantwortung.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Landl geht auf die Bedenken bez\u00fcglich des Dampfens in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit ein und f\u00fcgt hinzu:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWir begr\u00fc\u00dfen zwar die Zustimmung des Parlaments, die vorgeschlagenen Einschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr das Dampfen im \u00f6ffentlichen Raum geben uns jedoch Anlass zur Sorge. Solche Ma\u00dfnahmen k\u00f6nnten den Umstieg von Rauchern auf eine weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternative unbeabsichtigt erschweren. Es ist unerl\u00e4sslich, regulatorische Entscheidungen auf wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zu st\u00fctzen und zwischen Dampfen und Rauchen zu unterscheiden. Wir pl\u00e4dieren f\u00fcr einen Regulierungsansatz, der die Ziele des \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheitswesens unterst\u00fctzt und gleichzeitig die Unterschiede zwischen Rauchen und Dampfen ber\u00fccksichtigt.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die World Vapers&#039; Alliance setzt sich weiterhin daf\u00fcr ein, dass Strategien zur Schadensminderung, wie beispielsweise das Dampfen, in die EU-Gesundheitspolitik integriert werden.
