Seitdem die Welt Schwedens Erfolg beim Erreichen des rauchfreien Ziels der Initiative 5% feiert, richtet sich der Blick auf die EU als treibende Kraft f\u00fcr Schadensminderung und Innovation. Sollte die EU-Kommission das Snus-Verbot auf Nikotinbeutel ausweiten, gef\u00e4hrdet sie nicht nur ihre eigenen Ziele im Kampf gegen das Rauchen, sondern setzt auch die weltweiten Bem\u00fchungen zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung aufs Spiel.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">W\u00e4hrend es Schweden dank der Ausnahmeregelung des EU-Gesetzes f\u00fcr das Snus-Verbot gelungen ist, die Raucherquote in den letzten Jahrzehnten deutlich zu senken, werden Nikotinbeutel nicht gleichbehandelt und sind daher auch in Schweden bedroht.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201e<em>Leider gilt die schwedische Ausnahmeregelung f\u00fcr Tabak-Snus nicht f\u00fcr Nikotinprodukte. Sollten die EU-Kommission und die Mitgliedstaaten die Empfehlung des Berichts annehmen, wird wei\u00dfer Snus auch in Schweden verboten. M\u00e4nner haben sich gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils vom Rauchen abgewendet und greifen stattdessen zu Snus, w\u00e4hrend Frauen, die nach weniger gef\u00e4hrlichen Alternativen suchen, h\u00e4ufiger wei\u00dfen Snus w\u00e4hlen.
