Am 29. August<\/span>th<\/span> A <\/span>Eine Gruppe von Generalstaatsanw\u00e4lten der US-Bundesstaaten hat sich zusammengetan und der FDA einen Brief als Antwort auf die Anh\u00f6rung der FDA vom 22. August geschickt.<\/span>und<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

In diesem Schreiben wird der FDA haupts\u00e4chlich empfohlen, alle nicht-tabakhaltigen Aromen in E-Zigaretten zu verbieten, wobei die altbekannte Behauptung \u201cAromen ziehen Jugendliche an\u201d angef\u00fchrt wird.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Doch immer mehr Studien zeigen, dass Erwachsene Aromen bevorzugen und erfolgreicher darin sind, mit dem Rauchen endg\u00fcltig aufzuh\u00f6ren, wenn Aromen verf\u00fcgbar sind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eine k\u00fcrzlich in den USA durchgef\u00fchrte Studie, die im vergangenen Mai auf PubMed ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. <\/span><\/a>Die Autorin kam zu dem Schluss, dass \u201cVerkaufsbeschr\u00e4nkungen f\u00fcr E-Zigaretten mit nicht-tabakhaltigen Aromen, einschlie\u00dflich Menthol, dazu f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnten, dass Produkte, die von erwachsenen Dampfern bevorzugt werden, darunter auch solche, die nie geraucht haben, vom Markt verschwinden, ohne erwachsene Raucher, die derzeit rauchen und noch nie gedampft haben, davon abzuhalten, E-Zigaretten auszuprobieren.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Studie zeigte auch, dass die Geschmacksrichtungen Erdbeere, Menthol, Pfefferminze und Vanille am beliebtesten waren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eine weitere aktualisierte Studie, eine\u00a0<\/span>Neuauflage und aktualisierte Fassung des Artikels \u201cArgumente f\u00fcr Aromen zur Tabakschadensminderung\u201d<\/span><\/a>\u00a0von Dr.\u00a0<\/span>Konstantinos Farsalinos<\/span><\/a>, Die urspr\u00fcnglich im Jahr 2022 ver\u00f6ffentlichte Ausgabe wurde f\u00fcr 2023 neu aufgelegt.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDer neueste Bericht enth\u00e4lt aktualisierte Studien zu Aromen und pr\u00e4sentiert die aktuellsten Forschungsergebnisse, darunter die Resultate einer Langzeitstudie zu tabakfreien und tabakhaltigen Aromen sowie deren Auswirkungen auf die Raucherentw\u00f6hnung. Die Studie beschreibt au\u00dferdem, dass das Dampfen tabakfreier Aromen nicht mit dem Einstieg ins Rauchen bei Jugendlichen, sondern mit einer erh\u00f6hten Raucherentw\u00f6hnungsrate bei Erwachsenen in Verbindung stand.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Und hier wieder, <\/span>Eine weitere Studie aus Gro\u00dfbritannien kommt zu dem Schluss, dass<\/span><\/a> \u201cSMS-Unterst\u00fctzung mit individueller Geschmacksberatung ist eine vielversprechende Interventionskombination f\u00fcr Raucher, die im Rahmen eines Aufh\u00f6rversuchs eine E-Zigarette verwenden.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Wenn also die Wissenschaft eindeutig belegt, dass Aromen beim Aufh\u00f6ren mit dem Rauchen eine entscheidende Rolle spielen, lautet meine Frage an diese 33 Generalstaatsanw\u00e4lte: Haben Sie bei Ihrem Appell an die FDA \u00fcberhaupt an die Erwachsenen gedacht?<\/span><\/p>\n

Vielleicht sollten die Generalstaatsanw\u00e4lte diese guten Ratschl\u00e4ge einmal beherzigen und sich einen Moment Zeit nehmen, um das Chaos zu verstehen, das diese Aromenverbote f\u00fcr erwachsene Dampfer anrichten.<\/span><\/p>\n
