Dr. Josep Mar\u00eda Ram\u00f3n Torrell, Leiter der Raucherentw\u00f6hnungsabteilung des Bellvitge-Krankenhauses, forderte letzte Woche eine risikobasierte Rangliste von Nikotinprodukten. Diese Rangliste sei notwendig, erkl\u00e4rte Torrell, damit Verbraucher die Gesundheitsrisiken der einzelnen Produkte kennen und fundierte Entscheidungen treffen k\u00f6nnen.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In dieser Rangliste, erkl\u00e4rte der Arzt Journalisten, sei Tabak zum Verbrennen das riskanteste Nikotinprodukt mit einer Punktzahl von 100. Nikotinkaugummis und -pflaster sollten die Produkte mit der niedrigsten Punktzahl (zwischen 3 und 5 Punkten) sein, w\u00e4hrend E-Zigaretten zwischen 7 und 8 Punkten und Snus sowie erhitzter Tabak zwischen 20 und 30 Punkten erreichen w\u00fcrden.<\/p>\n

Laut Aussage des Arztes ist das Schadensminderungspotenzial alternativer Nikotinabgabeprodukte enorm.<\/p>\n

Doktor Torrell erkl\u00e4rte, dass \u201cAlle derzeit auf dem Markt befindlichen Nikotinalternativen sind 10.000 Mal besser als Tabakerhitzer.<\/i>\u201d, was der Grund daf\u00fcr ist, dass er \u201cversteht diejenigen nicht, die sich dagegen aussprechen, Alternativen jeglicher Art f\u00fcr diejenigen anzubieten, die nicht mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren wollen oder k\u00f6nnen.<\/i>\u201c.<\/p>\n

Laut Torrell k\u00f6nnte die Sensibilisierung der Verbraucher f\u00fcr diesen Umstand die Verbrennungszigarette zu einer \u201cmarginal<\/i>\u201dProdukt und retten j\u00e4hrlich zwischen 10.000 und 15.000 Leben in Spanien.\u201c.<\/p>\n

Zu den unterschiedlichen Ans\u00e4tzen der L\u00e4nder bei der Bek\u00e4mpfung der Tabakepidemie erkl\u00e4rte Dr. Torrell: \u201cWir m\u00fcssen Nikotin vom Tabak entkoppeln, wie es einige L\u00e4nder wie Gro\u00dfbritannien, Schweden und Neuseeland mit gro\u00dfem Erfolg tun. Seit den 1950er-Jahren ist erwiesen, dass Nikotin nicht direkt mit Krankheiten in Verbindung steht. Nikotinersatzstoffe k\u00f6nnen Menschen beim Rauchstopp helfen.
