Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage von 2022 wurden eine Woche nach der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung der zweiten \u00f6ffentlichen Konsultation der EU-Kommission zur \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung der EU-Tabakproduktrichtlinie (TPD) ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n<p>Laut der Umfrage glaubt eine knappe Mehrheit der Europaabgeordneten, dass nikotinhaltige Produkte weniger sch\u00e4dlich sind als Rauchen, w\u00e4hrend die Zahl derjenigen, die sie f\u00fcr genauso sch\u00e4dlich wie Rauchen halten, um 61 % gesunken ist. Ein Viertel der Befragten verf\u00fcgt weiterhin \u00fcber unzureichende Kenntnisse bez\u00fcglich der Eigenschaften der Produkte und der damit verbundenen Risiken.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, kommentierte die Ergebnisse der Umfrage:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWir begr\u00fc\u00dfen es, dass immer mehr Gesetzgeber die Vorteile der Schadensminderung bei der Raucherentw\u00f6hnung erkennen. Die Umfrage zeigt jedoch auch, dass viele Abgeordnete des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments \u00fcber grundlegende Kenntnisse zur Tabakschadensminderung verf\u00fcgen, obwohl sie die Tabakgesetzgebung der kommenden Jahre ma\u00dfgeblich bestimmen werden. Die Mythen \u00fcber E-Zigaretten und Nikotin haben viele Regierungen daran gehindert, die Schadensminderung zu f\u00f6rdern. Dazu geh\u00f6ren unter anderem Gro\u00dfbritannien und Schweden.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSchweden ist das einzige europ\u00e4ische Land, das dem Ziel einer rauchfreien Zukunft gem\u00e4\u00df 5% nahekommt. Der Grund f\u00fcr diesen Erfolg liegt darin, dass die schwedischen Gesetzgeber auf die Verbraucher h\u00f6ren und die Schadensminimierung durch angemessen regulierten Snus und eine offene Haltung gegen\u00fcber dem Dampfen unterst\u00fctzen. Gemeinsam mit dem Netzwerk von Organisationen, die sich f\u00fcr die Rechte von Dampfern einsetzen, tragen wir weiterhin dazu bei, das Bewusstsein f\u00fcr die positive Rolle von Nikotinprodukten in Europa und dar\u00fcber hinaus zu sch\u00e4rfen. Wir hoffen, dass die EU-Politik diesem Beispiel folgen und eine globale Vorreiterrolle bei der Schadensminimierung einnehmen werden.\u201d<\/em> Landl.<\/p>\n<p>Die WVA hat au\u00dferdem ein Informationsblatt zur Schadensminimierung ver\u00f6ffentlicht, das relevante wissenschaftliche Forschungsergebnisse zu allen Aspekten von Nikotinprodukten enth\u00e4lt, darunter die Auswirkungen des Dampfens und von Nikotin, die Besteuerung und Aromen.
