Die WVA-Vape-Tour hat nun Prag erreicht, wo sie Politiker dazu ermutigt, das Dampfen im Namen der Tabakschadensminderung zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n

Erste gestartet im Sommer 2021<\/a> Als die WVA vor dem Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament ein neues Graffiti-Wandbild enth\u00fcllte, mit einer klaren Botschaft: \u201c19 Millionen Leben k\u00f6nnten in Europa durch die Unterst\u00fctzung des Dampfens gerettet werden.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zum Auftakt der Kampagne fand dieses Mal in Stra\u00dfburg statt, wo Vertreter der WVA mit mehreren Mitgliedern des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments zusammentrafen, um ihre \u201cRichtlinie \u00fcber E-Zigarettenprodukte<\/a>\u201dDie Installation zeigte, wie das Dampfen sein volles Potenzial f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit entfalten kann. Begleitend dazu wurde eine Kunstinstallation mit dem Titel \u201cLass nicht 19 Millionen Leben verlieren\u201d pr\u00e4sentiert, deren Botschaft zwischen Oktober und November 2022 in zehn St\u00e4dten in sechs L\u00e4ndern verbreitet werden soll.<\/p>\n

Die WVA-Kampagne erreicht Osteuropa<\/h4>\n

Anschlie\u00dfend startete die WVA die Kampagne in Prag, wo sie dem tschechischen Gesundheitsministerium ihre Richtlinie f\u00fcr E-Zigarettenprodukte vorlegte. Dar\u00fcber hinaus veranstaltete die WVA im Prager Stadtzentrum eine Protestkunstinstallation, die aus fallenden Dominosteinen bestand, welche die durch rauchbedingte Krankheiten verlorenen Leben symbolisierten.<\/p>\n

WVA-Direktor Michael Landl erkl\u00e4rte, warum die Nutzung sichererer Alternativen Tausende von Leben retten kann. \u201cJedes Jahr sterben in Europa mehr als 700.000 Menschen und in Tschechien 17.000 an den Folgen des Tabakkonsums. Angesichts der vielen Leben, die durch eine verbraucherfreundliche Regulierung des Dampfens gerettet werden k\u00f6nnten, sind dies katastrophale Zahlen. Daher hoffen wir, dass die tschechische Regierung ihr Engagement f\u00fcr die Schadensminimierung weiter verst\u00e4rkt. Die tschechische Regierung muss sich zudem auf EU-Ebene gegen Angriffe auf das Dampfen und andere weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternativen wehren.\u201c #BackVapingBeatSmoking-Kampagne <\/a>Dies soll das Bewusstsein daf\u00fcr sch\u00e4rfen, dass 19 Millionen Leben in Europa gerettet werden k\u00f6nnten, wenn wir das Dampfen als wirksames Mittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung in Tschechien und auf EU-Ebene anerkennen w\u00fcrden.\u201d<\/p>\n
