Mitte Mai traf Spaniens E-Zigaretten-Branche ein Schock: Die Regierung legte einen Gesetzentwurf vor, der den unabh\u00e4ngigen inl\u00e4ndischen E-Zigaretten-Sektor beenden w\u00fcrde. Der Vorschlag sieht vor, den Verkauf von E-Zigarettenprodukten innerhalb von f\u00fcnf Jahren auf staatliche Tabakwarengesch\u00e4fte zu beschr\u00e4nken. Spezialisierte E-Zigaretten-Shops d\u00fcrfen nur dann weiter bestehen, wenn sie sich in lizenzierte Tabakwarengesch\u00e4fte umwandeln \u2013 was sie dazu verpflichten w\u00fcrde, auch herk\u00f6mmliche Tabakwaren zu verkaufen. Der Gesetzentwurf w\u00fcrde zudem den Online-Verkauf von E-Zigarettenprodukten verbieten.<\/p>\n

Auf einer k\u00fcrzlich abgehaltenen Konferenz erkl\u00e4rte Angeles Muntadas-Prim Lafita, Vorsitzende des spanischen Verbandes zur Unterst\u00fctzung von Dampfern (ANESVAP), dass die geplante Gesetzgebung bedeute, dass die Regierung den Nikotinmarkt monopolisieren wolle. \u201cEin Land, das Mitglied des europ\u00e4ischen Binnenmarktes ist, will einen freien und unabh\u00e4ngigen Markt monopolisieren. Das ist, als w\u00fcrde man in eine Zeit zur\u00fcckfallen, als Spanien noch keine Demokratie war \u2013 oder gar zur Spanischen Inquisition\u201d, sagte sie.<\/p>\n

Muntadas-Prim Lafita hielt es f\u00fcr unwahrscheinlich, dass Betreiber von E-Zigaretten-Shops auch Tabakwaren verkaufen w\u00fcrden. Etablierte Tabakl\u00e4den hingegen k\u00f6nnten \u2013 oder m\u00fcssten es nicht \u2013 E-Zigarettenprodukte nach den geplanten Regelungen anbieten. \u201cDas w\u00e4re sch\u00e4dlich f\u00fcr die Verbraucher, die gezwungen w\u00e4ren, in einen Tabakladen zu gehen, um ihre E-Zigaretten zu kaufen \u2013 oder so viele wie m\u00f6glich, da es im Ermessen des Tabakladens l\u00e4ge, was er verkauft\u201d, sagte sie. \u201cAu\u00dferdem k\u00f6nnten Raucher, die das Dampfen nutzen, um von gef\u00e4hrlicheren Produkten loszukommen, wieder in Versuchung geraten, Tabakwaren zu kaufen.
