Oktober \u2014 <\/strong>Die vom Consumer Choice Center in Auftrag gegebene und in Zusammenarbeit mit der World Vapers&#039; Alliance verfasste Studie deckt mehrere Missverst\u00e4ndnisse \u00fcber Nikotin und Schadensminimierung bei Angeh\u00f6rigen der Gesundheitsberufe und Konsumenten auf.<\/p>\n<p>Ziel der Studie war es, die Auswirkungen von Fehlwahrnehmungen zum Thema E-Zigaretten bei Allgemeinmedizinern, Rauchern und politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern auf die zuk\u00fcnftige Schadensminderungspolitik in Europa besser zu verstehen. Die Studie umfasst 30 Interviews mit Allgemeinmedizinern sowie eine quantitative Befragung von 862 franz\u00f6sischen und deutschen Rauchern.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wichtigste Erkenntnisse:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Nur drei von 15 \u00c4rzten in Deutschland geben an, den Begriff Schadensminimierung zu kennen.<\/li>\n<li>331 \u00a3 Raucher in Frankreich und 431 \u00a3 Raucher in Deutschland glauben f\u00e4lschlicherweise, dass Dampfen genauso sch\u00e4dlich oder sogar sch\u00e4dlicher sei als Zigaretten.<\/li>\n<li>691.400 Raucher in Frankreich und 741.400 Raucher in Deutschland glauben f\u00e4lschlicherweise, dass Nikotin Krebs verursacht.<\/li>\n<li>62140 Raucher in Frankreich und 53140 Raucher in Deutschland sind der Ansicht, dass die Anti-Raucher-Politik ignoriert, wie schwierig es ist, mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cF\u00fcr Raucher, die mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren m\u00f6chten, gibt es zwei Hauptinformationsquellen: das Internet und ihren Hausarzt. Raucher sind mit traditionellen Methoden zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung unzufrieden und sollten dar\u00fcber informiert werden, dass E-Zigaretten helfen k\u00f6nnen. Mehr als 19 Millionen Menschen in der EU k\u00f6nnten potenziell vom Rauchen auf das Dampfen umsteigen, und die Politik sollte sie dabei unterst\u00fctzen, indem sie E-Zigaretten als bisher erfolgreichste Methode zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung f\u00f6rdert.\u201d <\/em>sagte Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Konstantinos Farsalinos, ein Arzt und Experte f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit mit viel Erfahrung in der Forschung zur Tabakschadensminderung, erw\u00e4hnte:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDie derzeit verf\u00fcgbaren wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse sind eindeutig: Dampfen ist weitaus weniger sch\u00e4dlich als Rauchen und sollte weltweit Bestandteil jedes Programms zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung sein.
