Es ist ein bitters\u00fc\u00dfes Ende einer langen und sch\u00f6nen Reise durch Europa, um unsere Botschaft den politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern und der Bev\u00f6lkerung zu vermitteln.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die #BackVapingBeatSmoking-Bustour endete vor zwei Wochen in Br\u00fcssel mit beeindruckenden Projektionen am Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament. Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit unterwegs und bin \u00fcberzeugt, dass wir einige Meinungen \u00e4ndern und einige Menschen aufkl\u00e4ren konnten.<\/p>\n

Der erste Teil der Tour f\u00fchrte uns von Spanien, Italien und Frankreich nach Deutschland, wo wir f\u00fcr unser Recht auf das Dampfen k\u00e4mpften und auch unseren Spa\u00df hatten.\u00a0Hier<\/a>\u00a0ist eine Zusammenfassung der besten Aspekte des ersten Teils dieser Reise.<\/p>\n

Turin, Italien<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wir legten also eine kurze Pause ein und waren dann wieder unterwegs. Unsere zweite Etappe der Tour startete im wundersch\u00f6nen Turin in Italien. Dort trafen wir viele leidenschaftliche italienische Dampfer, von denen viele ihre Politiker kontaktierten, sich in den sozialen Medien zu Wort meldeten und uns vor der Kamera von ihren Erfahrungen mit dem Dampfen erz\u00e4hlten.<\/p>\n

Genf, Schweiz<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nach Turin begannen die politischen Auseinandersetzungen und ich reiste nach Genf zum WHO-FCTC-COP9-Treffen, um den Delegierten unsere Botschaft in kleinen rosa Schachteln zu \u00fcberbringen, die alles Wissenswerte zum Thema \u201e#BackVapingBeatSmoking\u201c enthielten.<\/p>\n

Ich bin mit der festen \u00dcberzeugung nach Genf gereist, dass die Delegierten der COP sich der enormen Vorteile des Dampfens f\u00fcr die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit bewusst sein m\u00fcssen. Es betr\u00fcbt mich, dass das WHO-Rahmen\u00fcbereinkommen zur Eind\u00e4mmung des Tabakgebrauchs (WHO FCTC) so oft Entscheidungen auf der Grundlage veralteter Strategien trifft, die in der Vergangenheit kl\u00e4glich gescheitert sind.<\/p>\n

Leider und v\u00f6llig unlogisch hat das WHO-Rahmen\u00fcbereinkommen zur Eind\u00e4mmung des Tabakgebrauchs (WHO FCTC) Dampfer von der Teilnahme an den COP-9-Diskussionen ausgeschlossen, und die Demonstration der WVA wurde umgehend aus der N\u00e4he des WHO-Geb\u00e4udes entfernt. Trotzdem pr\u00e4sentierten wir in der ganzen Stadt eine eindrucksvolle Auswahl an Erfolgsgeschichten von Rauchern, die mit dem Rauchen aufgeh\u00f6rt haben \u2013 viele davon hatten wir w\u00e4hrend unserer Bustour gesammelt. Wir sind fest davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass diejenigen, die \u00fcber die Zukunft des Dampfens entscheiden, auch die Stimmen derjenigen h\u00f6ren m\u00fcssen, die am st\u00e4rksten von ihren Entscheidungen betroffen sind: die Dampfer selbst.<\/p>\n

Ich verlie\u00df Genf mit neuem Tatendrang und viel Optimismus f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chste Station, Br\u00fcssel.<\/p>\n

Wir kamen mit demselben Ziel nach Br\u00fcssel: Wir m\u00fcssen das Dampfen vor unwissenschaftlicher und \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfiger Regulierung sch\u00fctzen. Da sich der Europ\u00e4ische Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplan in der Endphase befindet und ein Aromenverbot f\u00fcr Dampfer in ganz Europa droht, beschlossen wir, die Abgeordneten des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments dazu zu bringen, die Stimme der Dampfer zu h\u00f6ren, bevor es zu sp\u00e4t ist. Unser bekannter Vape-Bus und Erfahrungsberichte von Dampfern wurden vor dem Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament pr\u00e4sentiert, und viele konnten sich den ganzen Tag \u00fcber davon \u00fcberzeugen, wie hilfreich das Dampfen f\u00fcr Millionen von Menschen ist. W\u00e4hrend unseres Aufenthalts in Br\u00fcssel trafen wir uns mit mehreren Abgeordneten und erkl\u00e4rten ihnen, dass Aromen ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Dampfens sind. Ein Verbot h\u00e4tte viele negative Folgen und w\u00fcrde die Chance vieler zerst\u00f6ren, f\u00fcr immer mit dem Rauchen aufzuh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

Zum Gl\u00fcck h\u00f6ren immer mehr Politiker zu und erkennen das enorme Potenzial des Dampfens im Kampf gegen Krebs. Deshalb habe ich gemeinsam mit unserer polnischen Partnerin Michalina 7.000 Petitionen an polnische Politiker \u00fcbergeben, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Stimmen geh\u00f6rt werden.<\/p>\n

Dampfer k\u00f6nnen die Welt ver\u00e4ndern. Meine Ansichten m\u00f6gen idealistisch klingen, aber ich bin \u00fcberzeugt, dass wir Millionen von Leben retten k\u00f6nnen \u2013 ganze 200 Millionen!, wenn wir gemeinsam f\u00fcr den Erhalt des Dampfens k\u00e4mpfen.<\/p>\n

Politiker d\u00fcrfen diese Chance nicht verpassen. Unsere Community ist st\u00e4rker denn je, der Kampf geht weiter, und die World Vapers' Alliance und ich pers\u00f6nlich werden alles in unserer Macht Stehende tun, um Dampfer weltweit zu unterst\u00fctzen.
