Am 10. Mai sprachen die Partner der WVA, die Portugiesische Vereinigung der Dampfer (APORVAP), vor dem Haushalts- und Finanzausschuss des portugiesischen Parlaments, insbesondere zum Staatshaushalt f\u00fcr 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

APORVAP ist ein gemeinn\u00fctziger Verein, der sich f\u00fcr die Interessen von Dampfern einsetzt. APORVAP konzentriert sich auf den Widerstand gegen die in Portugal geltende E-Zigarettensteuer, die zu den h\u00f6chsten in der EU z\u00e4hlt, und bek\u00e4mpft Fehlinformationen \u00fcber das Dampfen, gest\u00fctzt auf wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse \u00fcber weniger sch\u00e4dliche Nikotinkonsummethoden.<\/span><\/p>\n

In ihrer Rede vor dem Parlament sprach sich APORVAP f\u00fcr die korrekte Auslegung des Dampfens als Instrument zur Schadensminderung f\u00fcr Raucher aus und pl\u00e4dierte f\u00fcr eine Steueranpassung, die den gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen dieser Produkte Rechnung tr\u00e4gt. Portugal ist nachweislich der Mitgliedstaat mit der h\u00f6chsten Steuer auf nikotinhaltige Fl\u00fcssigkeiten (0,32 \u20ac\/ml; der Staatshaushalt sieht eine Erh\u00f6hung um 11 TP4T auf 0,323 \u20ac\/ml vor), was bemerkenswerterweise 2571 TP4T \u00fcber dem europ\u00e4ischen Durchschnitt (0,09 \u20ac\/ml) liegt.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWir bem\u00fchen uns erneut, die Kommission und ihre Abgeordneten auf die umfangreichen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse zur Wirksamkeit von E-Zigaretten bei der Reduzierung der gesundheitlichen Sch\u00e4den von Rauchern aufmerksam zu machen.
