Der Preis f\u00fcr nikotinhaltige E-Liquids w\u00fcrde sich bei Verabschiedung des Gesetzes verdreifachen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Anschluss an die Bekanntgabe sagte Michael Landl:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDie Regierung behauptet, diese Steuern w\u00fcrden die \u00f6ffentliche Gesundheit verbessern, doch das Gegenteil ist der Fall. Als weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternative muss das Dampfen erschwinglicher sein als das Rauchen, um Raucher zum Aufh\u00f6ren zu bewegen. Wenn Regierungen die Belastung der \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheit durch das Rauchen verringern wollen, m\u00fcssen sie das Dampfen erschwinglicher und zug\u00e4nglicher machen, nicht weniger.\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Neben den liberalen und gr\u00fcnen Oppositionsparteien, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welt.de\/wirtschaft\/article230538581\/Steuer-auf-E-Zigaretten-ein-Fest-fuer-Schmuggler-Schieber-und-Faelscher.html\">Deutsche Polizeigewerkschaft<\/a> Sie \u00e4u\u00dferten \u00f6ffentlich ihren Widerstand gegen die Steuererh\u00f6hung. Sie erkl\u00e4rten, solche Steuererh\u00f6hungen w\u00e4ren ein willkommener \u201cStart f\u00fcr Schmuggler und F\u00e4lscher\u201d. Die deutsche Zollunion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bundesfinanzministerium.de\/Content\/DE\/Gesetzestexte\/Gesetze_Gesetzesvorhaben\/Abteilungen\/Abteilung_III\/19_Legislaturperiode\/2021-03-24-TabStMoG\/Stellungnahme-BDZ.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&amp;v=2\">BDZ<\/a>, Er sagte: \u201cAufgrund der betr\u00e4chtlichen Steuerbelastung beispielsweise auf Fl\u00fcssigkeiten wird sich zwangsl\u00e4ufig ein Schwarzmarkt f\u00fcr Steuervermeidung entwickeln.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Teurere E-Zigarettenprodukte werden einkommensschw\u00e4chere Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen am h\u00e4rtesten treffen, da diese die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Gruppe der Raucher in Deutschland ausmachen, fuhr Landl fort.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHohe Steuern treffen die \u00c4rmsten am h\u00e4rtesten. Die Grundlagen der Wirtschaftswissenschaften lehren uns, dass Preiserh\u00f6hungen bei E-Zigaretten zu h\u00f6heren Raucherquoten f\u00fchren. Entweder ignoriert die Regierung die Gesetze der \u00d6konomie, oder sie glaubt, kurzfristig ein Loch in die Staatskasse stopfen zu k\u00f6nnen \u2013 auf Kosten derer, die mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren wollen.
