Es gibt weitere Best\u00e4tigung daf\u00fcr, dass Dampfen ein Ausweg aus dem Rauchen ist. Diejenigen, die weiterhin behaupten, Dampfen sei ein Einstieg ins Rauchen, sollten sich die Zeit nehmen, die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse zu lesen. \u2018H\u00f6rt auf die Wissenschaft\u2019 \u2013 diesen Satz haben wir in letzter Zeit im Zusammenhang mit COVID oft geh\u00f6rt, aber hoffentlich werden diejenigen, die das Dampfen st\u00e4ndig kritisieren, es diesmal beherzigen. Sie k\u00f6nnen sich nicht l\u00e4nger die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse herauspicken, die ihnen gerade passen.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Der aktualisierte Bericht von Public Health England zeigt Folgendes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>E-Zigaretten sind im Jahr 2020 in England das beliebteste Hilfsmittel (27,21 TP 4 T) f\u00fcr Raucher, die mit dem Rauchen aufh\u00f6ren wollen.<\/li>\n<li>Mehr als 50.000 Raucher haben 2017 mithilfe des Dampfens mit dem Rauchen aufgeh\u00f6rt.<\/li>\n<li>381 von 40 Rauchern glaubten, dass Dampfen genauso sch\u00e4dlich sei wie Rauchen, w\u00e4hrend 151 von 40 der Meinung waren, dass Dampfen sch\u00e4dlicher sei.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Michael Landl \u00e4u\u00dferte seine Bedenken hinsichtlich der Wahrnehmung des Dampfens unter aktuellen Rauchern:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMehr als die H\u00e4lfte der Raucher glaubt, dass Dampfen sch\u00e4dlicher oder genauso sch\u00e4dlich ist wie Rauchen. Das ist sehr besorgniserregend. Fehlinformationen \u00fcber das Dampfen tragen ma\u00dfgeblich zu diesem Missverst\u00e4ndnis bei, und wir alle m\u00fcssen alles tun, um dem entgegenzuwirken.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trotz dieses weiteren wissenschaftlichen Belegs f\u00fcr die Wirksamkeit des Dampfens als Mittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung sieht der k\u00fcrzlich ver\u00f6ffentlichte Vorschlag der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission f\u00fcr den Europ\u00e4ischen Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplan Ma\u00dfnahmen zur systematischen Eind\u00e4mmung des Dampfens vor. Dabei sollen dieselben Methoden wie bei der Tabakbek\u00e4mpfung angewendet werden. Beispiele hierf\u00fcr sind die Ausweitung der Besteuerung neuartiger Tabakprodukte, Dampfverbote im Freien und Aromaverbote. N\u00e4chste Woche wird der wissenschaftliche Beirat der Kommission, SCHEER, seinen aktualisierten Vorschlag vorstellen.<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/health\/scientific_committees\/scheer\/opinions_en#fragment1\"> Bericht \u00fcber E-Zigaretten<\/a> die die Grundlage f\u00fcr weitere EU-Regulierungen bilden werden.<\/p>\n<p>Landl kommentierte den europ\u00e4ischen Plan zur Krebsbek\u00e4mpfung wie folgt:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBislang hat die EU-Kommission die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse zum Thema E-Zigaretten in ihrem Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplan ignoriert.
