{"id":1341,"date":"2021-02-03T12:41:10","date_gmt":"2021-02-03T17:41:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/?p=1341"},"modified":"2022-05-12T06:31:34","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T10:31:34","slug":"cancerplanwva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldvapersalliance.com\/de_de\/cancerplanwva\/","title":{"rendered":"Europas Krebsplan verfehlt sein Ziel \u2013 Weltallianz der Dampfer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission hat heute ihr wegweisendes Projekt gestartet. <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/strategy\/priorities-2019-2024\/promoting-our-european-way-life\/european-health-union\/cancer-plan-europe_en\">\u2018&#039;Plan zur Krebsbek\u00e4mpfung&#039;\u2019<\/a> Die World Vapers&#039; Alliance, eine Gruppe, die Tausende von Dampfern weltweit vertritt, ist jedoch besorgt \u00fcber die im Bericht erkennbare Voreingenommenheit gegen\u00fcber dem Dampfen.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Start des Plans sagte er:, <strong>Michael Landl, Direktor der World Vapers&#039; Alliance, sagte:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDer heutige Plan zeigt, dass die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission zul\u00e4sst, dass Ideologie die Wissenschaft behindert. Ziel des europ\u00e4ischen Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplans ist es, die Krebsbelastung f\u00fcr Patienten, ihre Familien und die Gesundheitssysteme zu verringern. Dabei ignoriert er jedoch die F\u00fclle an Beweisen, die belegen, dass das Krebsrisiko durch E-Zigaretten nur weniger als ein halbes Prozent des Risikos durch Rauchen ausmacht.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Als ob es nicht schon schlimm genug w\u00e4re, die Beweise zu ignorieren, die das Dampfen als weniger sch\u00e4dliche Alternative zum Rauchen belegen, setzt der Plan das Dampfen in Teilen davon mit dem Rauchen gleich. Als Reaktion auf diese falsche Gleichsetzung sagte Landl:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cRauchen und Dampfen sind nicht dasselbe, und die Kommission wei\u00df das. Aufgrund einer ideologischen Haltung vernachl\u00e4ssigt sie jedoch ihre Pflicht, im besten Interesse aller EU-B\u00fcrgerinnen und -B\u00fcrger zu handeln. Beides gleichzusetzen ist ein Fehler, der Tausende von Raucherinnen und Rauchern vom Aufh\u00f6ren abhalten k\u00f6nnte. Schlie\u00dflich wissen wir, dass Dampfen doppelt so wirksam ist wie andere Methoden zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Im Kampf gegen das Dampfen sieht der europ\u00e4ische Krebsbek\u00e4mpfungsplan Ma\u00dfnahmen zur systematischen Eind\u00e4mmung des Dampfens vor, wobei dieselben Methoden wie bei der Eind\u00e4mmung des Tabakkonsums zum Einsatz kommen. Beispiele hierf\u00fcr sind die Ausweitung der Besteuerung neuartiger Tabakprodukte, das Verbot des Dampfens in Innenr\u00e4umen und das Verbot von Aromen.<\/p>\n<p>Landl \u00e4u\u00dferte sich zu den Vorschl\u00e4gen gegen das Dampfen wie folgt:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWenn f\u00fcr E-Zigaretten die gleichen Regeln wie f\u00fcr Zigaretten gelten \u2013 h\u00f6here Steuern, Verbote an bestimmten Orten usw. \u2013, dann wird das Rauchen f\u00fcr diejenigen, die dank des Dampfens mit dem Rauchen aufgeh\u00f6rt haben, im Vergleich attraktiver. Das w\u00e4re eine Katastrophe und widerspricht v\u00f6llig den Zielen der EU.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWenn die EU besorgt dar\u00fcber ist, dass junge Menschen mit dem Dampfen anfangen, dann sollten wir Altersbeschr\u00e4nkungen durchsetzen. Aber das Dampfen teurer und weniger genussvoll zu machen, ist ein sicherer Weg, die derzeitigen Dampfer direkt wieder in ihre alten Gewohnheiten zur\u00fcckzuversetzen.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDie R\u00fcckkehr zum Rauchen ist eine zentrale Sorge unserer Mitglieder, die sich im Vorfeld dieses Plans mit 7540 Unterschriften f\u00fcr eine Petition zur Unterst\u00fctzung des Dampfens und 229 E-Mails an Europaabgeordnete mobilisiert haben. Eine Umfrage ergab zudem, dass 941 unserer Mitglieder der Meinung sind, dass ihnen das Dampfen geholfen hat, das Rauchen zu reduzieren oder ganz aufzugeben. Dampfer d\u00fcrfen nicht ignoriert werden, da sie als Erste unter den Folgen dieses Plans leiden werden.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nach der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des europ\u00e4ischen Aktionsplans zur Krebsbek\u00e4mpfung wird die Vorzeigeinitiative von EU-Gesundheitskommissar Kyriakides vom Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament gepr\u00fcft und kommentiert. Landl hofft, dass die Abgeordneten hier die Fehler der Kommission aufzeigen und diese in ihrem eigenen, noch in diesem Jahr zu ver\u00f6ffentlichenden Plan korrigieren.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cDas Parlament hat seinen Plan noch nicht ver\u00f6ffentlicht, und wir appellieren an alle Abgeordneten, die M\u00e4ngel des Kommissionsplans zu ber\u00fccksichtigen. Wir hoffen, dass sie das Dampfen richtig einsch\u00e4tzen und es als wirksames Mittel zur Raucherentw\u00f6hnung anerkennen.
